I don't believe I have an agenda here (as my post has been quoted a few times), I have said I would rather KWP get a run in the side over Trippier if we continue with a back four, I just thought he had a dodgy game last night. That is all.

But that wasn't aimed at you because you're a good poster and you are always fair ;)

Haven't seen the full highlights so unfair to rate players on that basis.

Watched the compilation video of all of Foyth's touches and he looked superb. I don't think he played a bad ball all night. Not difficult to see why he got called up for Argentina, I think we need to start playing him in the Prem and giving him some decent experience, or even the CL if it gets to the stage we've got nothing to play for.

Two really good finishes by Son.

One excellent finish from Llorente.

Foyth MOTM.
So after basing your vote on "the compilation video of all of Foyth's touches" how could anyone else stand a chance to be contender for MOTM?! :cautious:

That's kind of the point.

I think you're giving my MOTM nomination far more gravitas than it deserves. Thank you.

Thought the Foyth kid done well, think he at least deserves some more game time to prove his worth.

I was just pulling your Chain. For what its worth I didn't see the match either and would only base my MOTM (Foyth) on the reviews and ratings in this thread.

People just trying their best to justify their reasoning for KWP not to get picked in the first team and literally trying to find anything to knock him, yes he struggled against Antonio initially but dealt with him better as the match wore on.

not being funny but I was 1 who thought he wasn't too good, and I know it never happened, but had spam taken advantage in the 1st half of what looked a weakness a lot more stick would be handed out.

yes he did improve, but also Antonio didn't look as strong in the later of the match. there are a lot of teams out there that if they saw that last night would make sure they put their fastest and strongest player on KWP, and on another day it would work for the opposition. he needs to build that strength up, if he doesn't Poch won't pick him

Not sure if that will be the reason why Poch won't pick him, Trippier is hardly built like a brick house is he.

Who was Captain last night? My dad mentioned he heard it was someone young but my first half French / second half Russian streams weren't exactly the clearest viewing quality...

I thought Foyth was very good last night. Son took his chances well. Liking the look of Winksky recently, too. I'd go Foyth.

Eriksen was captain then Waynama.

the trouble with Trippier he doesn't have the pace of KWP though he looked a little slower last night. Myself we either give Aurier a more constant run on his preferred side and hope he becomes the player we want, or we will need 2 new RB's until KWP is really ready for the step up. he was great in his 1st game v Newcastle last season, but wasn't given enough game time. Poch must be worried about something to not give him enough.

the only thing with Trips is he has something the other 2 don't have, delivery

If he wasn't ready I don't think Poch would play him and wouldn't be in the first team. We're just in the fortunate position of having 3 competent right backs - good enough to be 2nd choice tbh.

I'd rather we have Aurier and KWP as no1 and no personally, not sure where that leaves Tripper though.

if you told me at the start of the season our 1st 2 would be Aurier and KWP I'd of been quite happy, last night worried me.

The Business Class........Foyth, Son
Tourist Class............... Dele, Eriksen, Sanchez, KWP, Winks, Gazzaniga
Sorry this flight is fully booked.....Aurier, Llorente, Wanyama.

Good performance and control of the game.
Poch comes through with his use of youth and fringers.
Set piece header again. Gazz hesitated and KWP simply too short.
I wonder how many of these will play against Arsenal.

A bit harsh considering that Antonia has bullied seasoned full backs in EPL including Trippier just under two weeks ago
Hardly... he didn't even start and came on late in the 2nd half.... Maybe you didn't watch this game either.
