Redknapp can't wait to criticise Spurs these days because we sacked his Daddy. If he can't keep his personal agenda to himself I'd sooner he shut up and Sky let an unbiased pundit do the chat. We always seem to get Alan Smith on the commentaries but he seems pretty fair to me.
Capoue did shut him up with a very solid showing. A lot of what he does goes unnoticed but he wins the ball consistently and covers the back 4 very well. Great player to have alongside Mason on a real Baptism of Fire debut.

There's no such thing.

Used to like Redknapp. Can't stand him now. Not just over yesterday's Capoue comments (I thought Capoue was very good). Bitter man.

Agree with all of that except the bold part. He's always having digs at us whoever we're playing. And of course there was the time he insisted the swerve on Walker's winner v Arsenal a few years back wasn't fair and that the balls should be changed.

Gooners seem to think Smith needles them too so maybe he's just negative about everyone? Dunno

I've probably spent too long listening to Redknapp and Phil Thompson to be fair.

To be fair out players have not done much to prove him wrong in his opinion about them. I remember Roy Keane saying Spurs always let you down in the end and that's been true most of the time for quite a few years now. We were not brilliant yesterday but eventually we showed great spirit and I credit Pochettino for that.

To be fair to Redknapp, he said the same thing before the Liverpool game and was proved right. Yesterday, however, Capoue looked a lot better, showed more concentration and surprised me a little. I thought he was not up to the big games but hopefully Poch has improved him and he'll only get better, he seems to have all necessary attributes.

Great to see all our French Internationals stand up together. They are all in positions involving the spine, so no surprise many called them their MOM. Whilst we would all like to see us regularly beat or match the $$$$$ teams we have been consistiently up there for the last 5 years. Our squad is made of fair few players who are regular starters in their national squads. Yes, we continually sell our best. Anyone that sees this than anything other than economic reality is kidding themselves. We have many class players. Give Poch the time he deserves (can't believe I'm writing that about a Spurs manager). Been really impressed with Etienne this year and when our captain stand up like that he can drag the rest of them with him. COYS.

If I recall Redknob never really had to many outstanding games for us. To me he was just another player who to be fair if it weren't for his wife and Da we would probably not take a blind bit of notice of.
