Guess we will have to wait for this NOTW article on sunday to get a real idea of what if anything might be going on.

Apparently Jamie Redknapp has pulled out of Sky work related tasks next week due to personal problems.

It can always have a crumb of truth....but makes NO sense at all. It would never surprise me what Levi is capable of. Perhaps 'Arry is in danger of CL qualification and that would be a disaster? Poor Martin Jol paid the price for his continued success...and he went on to 'great things', at Hamburg and now at Ajax ha ha?
I guess that there is no truth in this story....but who knows! COYS!

Well I guess my hopes of a win at Bolton are dashed. Squad will have no morale for this game if they think Harry might be arrested monday. Fuck all

Or maybe it will galvanise the team further?

What's more likely?

Let's go out and win one for Harry?

Or

What the fuck is going to happen. I am a little concerned about this and can't put all my concentration on the game.

being as this has a lot to do with a police investigation, and not the management after a popular manager, I doubt anyone is going to offer up their arm and ask for a clean break, ala Escape to Victory. More than likely they will be distracted.

There is an old expression, my friend: "Don't meet trouble half way".

All this stress just in case there is any truth in this rumour. All this stress about how the team will react to this rumouring being true, just in case there is any truth in this rumour:shrug:

That's complete BS!

He's playing in a charity Pro Am Golf tournament with Gullit et al. Hence why he won't be in the Sky studio for the Chelsea/Liverpool game...

Bearing in mind the press love to spin even the smallest amount of bullshit into a back page headline that can run and run for days, I'd imagine that IF there were any truth in this then we'd already have a few more details about where the rumours have originated from and the basis of any such rumours. Basically, surely if there were any truth in this the papers would be falling over themselves to get a run on the other papers and Sky, being part of the Murdoch family, would also be all over it (with the usual "SkySports understands...." yellow banner along the bottom of the screen).

Instead they are all currently running banner headlines which, in essence, state the following:

"England got stuffed by the Aussies in the One-Day Cricket... Again. Oh and some funny shit went on at Spurs with 'Arry today which we had a good chuckle over, 'Arry included".

It just doesn't seem like the red-tops are readying themselves for the inevitable storm which would engulf such a story if there were a shred of truth in it.
