I'd happily take Parker. He does have abit of leadership that we clearly need.

Green better than Gomes is as ridiculous as BC's claim that Wes Brown and Johnny Evans are better than Dawson.

I can see why you think Cole is better than our strikers but the fact is he's even streakier than Defoe and, if possible, does even less for the team when he's on a poor run.

For me Gomes is the better keeper on his day - Green makes just as many mistakes. Not needed.

Upson is just a shit centreback.

Given the chance of another transfer window (4th time lucky) i'd hope we could do better than CantControl.

However, if we decide to fuck around for a month before panicking on deadline day, i'd happily take him instead of nobody- he's certainly better than the dog shit we've got at the moment.

As for pushing Modric further forward....well, errr, despite of him being an excellent player, he can't shoot nor head the ball...so that wouldn't exactly help Spurs' goal scoring problems.

Well I'm not envisaging him leading the line if that's what your suggesting but his talents should be utilised in being a creative influence in the final third - either centrally or from the left.

I agree with Blockbuster.

Gomes has cost us many points this season, Green has probably saved West Ham many.

Cole is average like our strikers, but he is stronger and quicker than all of them. we badly lack power up front. His confidence dips are terrible though.
