Ok, the title of this thread is slightly misleading. I'm not suggesting that we should hire Rednapp in particular. My point is simply that under Ramos we aren't playing well, and indeed haven't been playing well for months on end. I understand that we've brought in new players and they need time to aclimatise. But... at the end of the day we're playing pretty awful football and not gaining points....so... either the manager we currently have needs to turn it around, or we need to get a new manager. At this point I have to lay my cards on the table. I think we need a new manager. Why? , well we aren't wining games, we don't look like winning games and players who were previously pretty useful are looking poor.
So , given that most of the mangers around the world which would seem like "top class" hires are either unavailable or not doing so well ( ie mr Klinsmann ) would we not be better of looking slightly closer to home and looking at proven premiership managers. At this point Rednapp enters my argument. Personally I think he plays Spurs style football, he's as genuine as you're likely to get in this day and age and I think he would absolutely fall over himself to get a job like Spurs. That last point in my opinion is half the battle won... having a manager who would practically die to make our team better. I think we had that in Martin Jol, and I don't think we have that in Juande Ramos, Harry Rednapp... I think he would absolutely slaughter himself to make us a better team,
I must add that this isn't an attempt to see Ramos out, it's simply a theory of who we could hire should he go
