Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon is being sent back from Atletico Madrid after an unsuccessful loan spell at Wanda Metropolitano. It is understood that the Spanish defender was sent out on loan last summer after Antonio Conte made it prevalent that he will not be included in his plans for this campaign. However, after failing to establish himself in the match-day squad and returning to form, Diego Simeone has decided to send him back.

I still think he's got a game in him (and I'm too lazy to change my avatar... come on, Sergio! Arse in gear, so I don't have to)

Missed the deadline. OR it’s the preamble to a lowball offer.

The 4th Official quotes Football London. Football London quotes Estadio Deportivo. And the article in Estadio Deportivo says

"The left-back arrived at the end of the last winter transfer window on loan from Tottenham Hotspur without an option to buy, so he will return to the London team at the end of this campaign."

In other words, there is no story, no scandal, no disaster, no premature return and no opportunity to reintegrate him this season. Just a shitty headline telling us what we already knew in a way that makes us click on a story their website.

Well, I showed them I won't fall for their lies and distortions...

Yeah, I showed them by clicking on three stories on three websites... err...

Why does this come up as a news story here when the headline is deeply misleading?

Maybe being a bit sensitive, but it seems like another opportunity for the media to portray us in a negative light, like we've somehow failed again.

Would rather have him as an alternative to Perisic than Sessegnon. A few bad games and he was discarded. Emerson on the other hand …,
