Apparantly Newcastle have enquired about him,and it seems it might be happening.

Wouldnt mind seeing him at Spurs, with the on going King sage showing no signs of letting up,i think he'd be a decent addition to the squad, hes really improved last 2 seasons and knows the Prem.

Dunne is a very good defender. While Richards has (rightfully) got a lot of plaudits for his performances at City, Dunne gets nowhere near the same amount of credit when he's consistently been the better of the two players. And yeah, he's pretty quick - a lot quicker than he looks, although seeing as he looks like a fat gypsy I suppose that's not saying much.

Would be an excellent signing anyway. Him, Woody and Ledley vying for two starting spots would be great news for us.

richard dunne??

dear lord NO!

Why not? Richard Dunne has been one of the most consistent defenders around for the last 2 seasons. If Ledders is going to be out he is the kind of defender you can always rely on. However this is destined to be moved to General Football.

Dunne is a great defender BUT....not being English he does not register on the 'scale'....If he were English he would be WORLD class (and he would have something to back up his class). Dunne was OK at Everton but improved drastically at Man City and is a leader....blood and gut's....COYS!

Dunne is a rock for City, quality player, but he'd be hounded out of Spurs for being fat

Dunne would be perfect for us. A leader, an organizer and gets stuck in. He really has a lot of qualities that we lack. But Dougal might be right, he's not fashionable and the numpties without a clue would probably turn on him very quickly.

To me though, he's a similar but not as good version of Woodgate. I'd prefer to see a quicker Ledley style defender to complement Woodgate really. I'd rather have him than Ben Haim, but then I'd rather have someone better. I'm sure Dawson can mature into a player at least as good as those two.
