Can't wait for this fight. Fancy Pacquiao to do it. Hatton says put your house on him. Said the same before the Mayweather Jnr fight and we unfortunately remember how that one went.

Should be a belter!

C'mon Hatton!

I think Hatton will win...but only because I bet on all 4 british fighters to win. So I guess thats more hope than belief.

Nah, I genuingly do think he'll do it via stoppage. If it goes to points, Pacman will take it as he'll land more hits I feel.

I haven't been that impressed with Ricky's recent performances, the Mayweather defeat, and his body reacting to his poor discipline between fights looks to have taken a big toll, he's lost a bit of sharpness. I'm also not convinced that Mayweather Sr has gotten him to iron out the faults in his technique.

I rate Pacman but the De La Hoya fight reminded me a lot of Joe Calzaghe's demolition of Roy Jones, in that he was fighting a spent force. So again will he come unstuck against a tougher and physically bigger opponent.

My heart says Ricky will finish Pacman with a few body shots, my head says Pacman will take the fight on points.

vbook opened here on the fight, bookies see Pacquaio as a clear favourite, I'd love to see Hatton win, as he's a great character and seems to be "one of the lads", maybe to the detriment of his career.

I think Pacquiao will outclass Hutton even more impressively than Mayweather did. I'm not going to lie I've never had any time for Hatton at all and I will enjoy seeing him lose.

Harsh. I will enjoy thinking about your unhappy face when Hatton wins then :)

Oh I hope you don't consider yourself British

I'll be rooting for Hatton but he's going to have to knock Pacman out if he's going to win.

The detriment of his career? He's the same age as Pacquiao but has a better fight record, losing only once to one of the best who's ever put the gloves on.

I feel the same, as I think pacman will land more during the rounds, hence getting a points advantage.

Hatton certainly has the power advantage though, and he has to use it.

If you've been watching HBO's 'Hatton-Pacquiao 24/7', you'll see that what Mayweather Snr's done with Hatton is no joke. Hatton may surprise a few people, if he stays disciplined in the ring on the night.

Rubbish, look at the list of fighters he's fought at the very top level. Freddie Roach was right when he said that Hatton is living on a win over an ageing Kostya Tsyzu. Then he loses to Mayweather. No shame in that. Pacquiao has fought and beaten future hall of famers Barrera and Morales, beat possible future Amir Khan opponent Juan Manuel Marquez, and is pound for pound the best in the world.

I like Hatton, and would love to see hime win but I can't see him winning this fight. And by the detriment of his career, I mean that going out drinking pints and having curries with the lads between fights isn't good for you if you have to shed over a stone in weight between fights. You can't do that as easily when you get older, you're still only a kid yourself, you'll see that in a few years :) It's just a bit unprofessional is all, but that's the Hatton way.

That could be the key. If he reverts to type and rushes in, he could get picked apart.

Would love to see Hatton do a Rocky 3 and go all Apollo Creed on Manny's arse!

Not since Mayweather Snr's been on board. There's been no reappearance from Ricky Fatton between his last fight and this one. And he's actually been in Vegas preparing properly for a bit now, not his usual have a lark in Manchester with Billy Graham then fly to America 1 second before the fight jobby.

Why shouldn't I consider myself British? I support British teams and nations in all sports. But if there's a character I don't like from any country then I'd never support him.

You're right, and I've loved the war of words/comedy show that's been going on between Mayweather Snr and Roach. Both are great trainers, Roach has Parkinsons disease which makes what's he's doing all the more impressive, he'll definitely help Amir Khan, too.

I've been more impressed with Hattons preperations for the fight, so i think he'll win this fight. I expect the Mayweather training to kick in more than his last fight too. Its always tough changing camps, so the first fight under Mayweather was always going to be tough. I think we'll see a different Ricky Hatton, especially fitness wise, in this fight.
