Fuckity fuck. Looks like the game plan went out the window the minute he stepped in the ring. He went for pacquiao, and missed his shots and left himself open, poor fight on ricky's part, I doubt very much that was the plan mayweather sr. had pencilled in for ricky.

I can't belive that Ricky got beaten by nik-nak, saying that he's got one hell of a punch

Ricky tried to land some heavy blows but they never hit the target, and nik-nak caught him with a few beauty's. The man deserve's the golden gun

Time for ricky to retire. He is good fighter but not a world class fighter! Glad he is ok! Really hope we get to see mayweather v pacqiuo. Will be great fight!

Pretty gutted, it's a depressing end for Hatton. I doubt we'll ever see him again.

Gutted, but thank the Lord he's ok. The angle from behind is a sickener. His head looks like it wants to leave his shoulders. What a punch!

Glad he's made millions out of the fight and boxing in general. He's been amazing for British boxing. No shame is being beaten by the two guys he lost to.

Roll on Pacquaio v Mayweather Jnr.

Absolutely. That was a bit sickening to watch, but it sets up what could be one of the all time great fights. I expect Mayweather to see off Marquez in July, and then, with a bit of luck and the right money, they'll get this one set up.

Of course this is all hindsight, but were we to read more into the strange body language between Mayweather Sr. and Hatton (compare that to the strong respect shared between Pacman and Roach), the weigh in photos suggested the cut was harsh on Ricky, he looked gaunt, and the subdued build up, where Ricky was surprisingly quiet and looked nervous.

Then there was Pacquiao, the talent, the speed, the brutal punching power that you wouldn't get from a man twice his size. Ricky had no chance, Mayweather Jr. took away his belief, Pacquiao ended his career.

Where does this leave Ricky? He mustn't fight on, like Chuck Liddell in the UFC his fighters instinct will tell him that he can't go out on two brutal defeats, but he must retire. He will sadly be remembered as a 'good' fighter, a popular fighter, a heroic fighter but last night confirmed he will never be a 'great' fighter.

Yeah I thought Hatton looked like a crackhead to be honest, far too thin and weak looking.
