So you are playing for liverpool and they are mid table and spurs, who are cl team come knocking, u are going to stay at liverpool? No you are not.

Hell yes I would stay at spurs, I love the club, its the only team I've ever wanted to play for. I don't care if United, Barcelona, Milan, Madrid or Liverpool want to sign me, I'd stay in North London.

And once my contract has expired I'll sign for Arsenal.

Thread got deleted guys, but read this below and weep, it is 100% true, no pinch of salt needed

----------------------------------------------------------

Keane has agreed deal with liverpool. Do not take with a pinch of salt, this is 100% truth. Keane said his goodbyes at Spurs yesterday as a deal has been done.

I have no idea whatsoever when this will be announced, but it is safe to say Keane wont be playing Norwich tonight!

Granted i am not a so called 'ITK' but i have this from a lot better sources than those cocks.

If this doesnt prove to be true you can kick me off SC. Go to the bookies, cry, do whatever but the deal is finally done.
With respect, you've done nothing more than paraphrase already published rumours including the "has said his goodbyes part" and take a stab at what we all know is very likely to come to pass just so that you can then claim to be a reliable.

No offense pal, but I could have just as easily written your post.

There's one big difference between Scumbell and Keane - roughly £20m.

Had Scumbell said he wanted to go and we had sold him for that sort of money then I'd have been okay, but he fucked us over royally. Keane isn't fucking us over royally, and if we end up with around £20m for him then that is fine by me.

The key phrase was that he would stay at Spurs as long as he was happy and felt wanted. It may well be the case that he's been told we've got Villa or Arshavin lined up and is suprplus to requirements, in which case he will justifiably feel neither happy nor wanted.

I just love the way some people leap to judgement when they have virtually no facts to go on.
I would like to believe he felt surplus to requirements because of the impending arrival of big players, but I find that very hard to believe.

As for the Sol Campbell comparison, perhaps I overshot the mark with the comparison, but I supposed what irks me is when players come out and heap praise on the club, fein loyalty only to then f*ck off.

I'll fish out all the relevant ITK later.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that we're apparently playing with a very hard ball where Berbatov is concerned, but are, it seems, happy to let Keane go?

But then I'm a cynical old sod.

Well, if there's a hidden meaning in what you're saying I'm afraid I'm missing it, but where Berbs is concerned I think Levy has far more bargaining scope than he does for Keane. Berbs is well known to other clubs as a potential world-class player, whereas you could hardly say that Keane has that reputation. Frankly, I think its a case of the scousers being willing to pay afee that we probably wouldn't get at any other time for Keane and Levy realising that its "bite their hand off" time, especially if Ramos has said to him that he views Keane as a non-essential player.

I agree, without a shadow of a doubt our manager wanted the sale of Robbie Keane to happen and who can blame him?
As the new manager of Spurs he is offerred £18-£20 million pounds for a player that he has substituted about 12 times in the last 15 games!
The complaint to the FA was a smokescreen to placate the fans, nothing else!

Stemark I agree with much of what you say - I think it was made clear to Robbie that he wouldn't be the regular striker - hence all those substitutions. And that would mean that Robbie's words weren't shallow. However, I would have hoped that 'Plan B' was well underway before we let him go .... maybe it is..

Personally I feel very sad that he's going and I hate the sight of him having anything to do with Liverpool but I wish him well.

Gutted but the blow will be softened soon. Time to go to the pub and watch the mighty Spurs while raising a glass to 6 years, many great moments and 100+ goals from one of my footballing heroes

Elisha Scott Liverpool itk has said this an hour or so ago ...

OK, please don't shout at me, but......

The medical has been scheduled for Monday for definite, I don't know what happened to yesterday.

The deal is sorted, so everyone stop panicking.

If he (she?) thinks anything will happen before we've signed a replacement and the extent of Liverpool's iniquity is revealed, he's a fucking idiot.

I guess the Liverpool ITK wasn't quite the fucking idiot afterall (or made a bloody lucky guess)...

Even so with todays news it shows your logic is flawed.

To be fair the Liverpool ITK had said several times that the medicial was a couple of days a away and everytime the days went by he came back and said the same again.

You might want to edit KY. If Paul Smith is saying that Arshavin is done, then Arshavin is done. And SS57 was spot on.

But the extent of Liverpools iniquity hasn't been revealed and neither has a replacement been signed!
