Bugger... I was hoping we'd sign Romelu Lukaka. Does this technically mean if we miss out on Romelu adiepf can't be blamed.

I'm sure that lots of info that people get passed on and then post in good faith changes all the time. We all love a bit of ITK, but shouldn't really live or die by it.

Until it's on the Official Site then we all know that it's not a done deal.

We also tend to believe the things that we like the idea of, so news about signing one of the top prospects is going to sound much more interesting than signing Scott Parker!

If all the ITK's that gave us info took heart from some of the abuse they get then we wouldn't have any ITK to discuss.

It actually contradicts the info mate.

Adie id saying his source has told him we have signed a pre contract with him, his agent is saying nothing is agreed with any team.

Whether Adie's info is any good or not, I don't doubt we are interested. Anderlect basically turned down a bid from us last summer. I guess we would try and sell ourselves to him over Chelsea by saying he will be likely to play here, where they have Torres and Drogba blocking his way.

If we do sign him for a lot of money I hope people don't expect the messiah, he is just a kid who will go through peaks and troughs of form.
