Seems to want out. Still only 27. Would cost upward of 30mil or 25million Levy dollars. Could he be convinced to come here for a new challenge? I don't see him as the type to go to Spain (to play, holidays yes). Can't see him going to City or Chelsea, I guess Arsenal maybe.

He had a quiet season this year but still got 13 goal and 13 assists in 27 starts.

Ade plus 5mil? ;)

Honestly mate what a waste of thread space!

What part of WE CAN'T AFFORD HIS WAGES

are you not able to understand?

Not the player we need because he's not a #9 imo.

In the number 10 role wasn't it?

IMO he's definitely not as a good as a lone striker. Not saying he's shit but I don't think that's what we're looking for.

For a player who gets paid £1m a month he has serious fitness issues. He is getting bigger by age and by all accounts loves his junk food & cigs. United fans want shot of him, that speaks volumes don't you think...

Nah, we couldn't get him. But I'd love to have him here. One of the best players in the league, brilliant all-round player, hard working, skillful, good finisher, strong. He's got it all, except for the looks. But that's alright.

I wouldn't want him tbh. Couldn't see him fitting in with our squad at all.

He doesn't want out.
He just wants another pay rise and someone to tell the world that he's better than everyone else (or RVP, anyway).
Spoilt child syndrome.

The most over rated player just because he is English, has never had the same impact as when he played in Euro 2004. Very similar parallels to Michael Owen in that respect. If he wasn't English I don't think he'd get the same attention. For what it's worth I think Wilshere is the next over hyped English player.

Fitness tests with Rooney are problematic to - in the sense that it's not pleasant viewing having to watch someone smash the granny out of...er well...grannies lol

Don't think the coaching staff would be up for that.

No, no, no you got it all wrong. They buy our stars. We don't buy their stars, we get their fourth or fifth choice players for a position....on loan.....for a season.

No worries, guys, just spoke to him, told him it's not happening. He's ok with it. No worries.
