As did Stan "the man" Collymore....
Didn't get a choice. His contract offer was rescinded when they took over.

Didn't we swap Gylfi for Vorm? So that the fee was effectively 0. Thus fudging Vorms former club over, seeing as they had a sell on clause for him.

Same as in Berardi thread, the boy needs a change...plus he's spent a lot of time being managed by Roberto Martinez, the biggest myth in football management.Regarding his footballing intelligence (or lack of, which is my worry), the first few posts were made in August 2015. Have a look at those. The same questions are being asked about him 2 years later. Worrying that he hasn't learnt in that time.

I want us to sign him btw. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery.

I think a straight swap with Sissoko would be a great deal. I'm just not sure how good Barkley is. You see hints of a great player but just not enough. To have the likes of Lamela and Barkley coming off the bench is a tempting option

Surely what we sold Siggy to Swansea for is irrelevant as any sell on clause is based on a percentage of what they sell him for.And there precisely is the issue with sell on clauses.
If Swansea sell Siggy, they'll want the money due to Spurs to be as little as possible.
So, without seeing the actual language of the sell on clause and knowing what price (transfer fee) was agreed in the final contract under which we sold Siggy, we can but speculate on how much we're ikely to get from any sale to Everton.
The Times' article suggests we negotiated a "nominal fee" from Swansea for Siggy and that the deal included both Davies and Vorm. If that's correct, the money we get from the sell-on clause could be significant.
We shall see.

it's like on tinder when you're not getting any matches you scroll back through your previous ones and think, "she may have three eyes but actually she's the one i'll marry".
the closer we get to deadline day the more I'm in love with ol' three-eye Ross
Problem with that is would Everton want Sissoko? If my memory is correct I believe that Sissoko said some derogatory things about Everton when he chose Spurs over Everton last summer.
Surely the contract can say whatever the parties agree to. Daniel levy could say when siggy is sold that the Swansea chairman has to nosh him off and help him plot world domination. If the Swansea chairman is stupid enough to agree to it then that's his problemI thought the usual situation wth sell on clauses was that the percentage was of the transfer fee over and above the sum the player moved for.
So, if we sold Siggy to Swansea for £20 million, the sell on clause would be 10% of the new transfer to Everton over and above that £20 million. If hypothetically he goes to Everton for £45 million, we would be entitled to 10% of £25 million, or £2.5 million in that scenario.
That said, it's clear as mud how much we sold Siggy to Swansea for, and there are even claims it was a swap deal including Ben Davies. The actual fee Swansea paid for Siggy may be as low as £10 million, and we haven't seen the precise language of the contractual sell on clause.
Knowing Levy as we do, I'm sure the Siggy sell on clause is a factor in our financial negotiations with Everton over Barkley.
Ok, what the fuck has dry, flammable material got to do with marrying someone? Fucks wrong with the world?Sorry, you use tinder to find somebody you will marry? Crieky.
