Who will be?
They will. You know, the ones who whisper in your head at night and plot ceaselessly against us.

He'd replace Dembele in CMNot fussed by this link to be honest. I don't see where he'd get a game.
I thought that was supposed to be for Grealish from what we'd heard? (even though I don't believe Grealish to be that sort of player)He'd replace Dembele in CM
Wonder how much Chelsea would want in this crazy market.
You could use someone like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as a comparative transfer, but I'm pretty sure he was either in or entering the last year of his contract - he was sold for around £35m.
Now, RLC is a young 'homegrown' England international with unique playing style, not as experienced as Oxlade-Chamberlain, but two years younger with arguably a higher ceiling...
£40-50m?
...and then when you consider he plays for one of our biggest rivals, you'd think the price would go up further...
£50-60m?
I think the most likely answer to this question is they wouldn't in any way sell us to him.

Liverpool bought Fabinho, a player just two years older who's won a league, played hundreds of first team top flight and CL games for £44m. Yet the price on the head of a player who's started 21 pl games for Palace, had a few decent games and ran past a couple of Tunisians is higher.
The overhype on any Englishman with a bit of technique is ridiculous, the homegrown tax even more so.
It’s so surprising that some don’t understand this yetEnglish players aren't being priced that high because they are overhyped. It's because they are home grown, and every side needs to have a quota of them in their squad, so the better ones cost a premium
While I would agree half the threads in here involve us explaining the same thing over and over again. On the one hand it's frustrating and on the other hand it gets us to 100 pages soIt’s so surprising that some don’t understand this yet

Not that I'll ever ask but, being from Ilford originally, I do sometimes wonder what my West Ham supporting family thinks about me falling in love with spurs as a 10 year old. Then again.....fvckem.
Did feel a bit like fag coming out when I told my scariest, oldest brother about it tbh. He didn't say a word. No longer talks football with me (rugby only ever since).
