I mean I can’t see us having issues meeting the demands especially if Marseille can.
No idea on source but the journalists are Ukrainian so maybe they have inside track from players side.I mean I can’t see us having issues meeting the demands especially if Marseille can.
So the issue is, Spurs want Malinovskyi on loan, but possibly Marseille looking to buy him outright...
And the player wants us....

Could be same situation as the Bastoni one, that Conte want Zaniolo and is willing to have a short term solution to have a go again on main target next summer.
I think having bought a few flops at really high prices, maybe we're trying to minimise the risk. If he's good we pay, if not send him backAre we skint?
Are we skint?
I'm sure we'd be happy to pay a reasonable loan fee (I don't know what that would be, maybe £5m?) , we just don't want to saddle ourselves with 4-5 year contract for a 29 year old.If he has only got 1 year left on his contract why would they loan him, senseless.
If we want him we are going to have to pay a fee.
I have a feeling we just want him as a stop gap and then buy a longer term target in the Summer or see how Gil is progressing. Are we skint?
Yeah, this signing would make far more sense as a loan. He's the type of player, like Lenglet, who is ideal cover for this season, but could end up clogging up the squad and blocking potential star signings down the line if we signed him on a perm.I have a feeling we just want him as a stop gap and then buy a longer term target in the Summer or see how Gil is progressing.
