No one in Germany would agree with you.
It seems Sane turns to dust whenever he wears the Germany Shirt and offers nothng to the Team. Too many decent Players in the attacking mid positions and Loew just doesn't Play to Sane's strengths.

So as weird as we find it, absoulutely no German person i know disagrees with leaving Sane at home.

£5 entry, with winner picking up £50
Team that has top scorer gets £20
Team with player of the tournament gets £10

What happens to the other £80??
Team that finishes bottom of each group gets £10... At least I've got something to play for

Are there any WC wall charts in the papers this weekend? I've seen one in the mail but not sure I want to fund them in any way!

I'm gonna have to man up and be nice to my old lady for the next few weeks.

Just browsing through next weeks tv listings mag - It's about to kick off

Thursday -
4 pm Russia v Saudi Arabia
then 3 matches on the Friday, like ducks in a row on RTE2 here in ROI .
1 pm Egypt v Uruguay
4 pm Morocco v Iran
7 pm Portugal v Spain

I could probably skip the 4pm match and just hit the big telly for the other two.

I heard an ad on Football Weekly saying that the Observer have got one this weekend.. I assume it's today. The Guardian have got a hundred page pull out on the world cup.

The Observer is the Sunday version of The Guardian.

David Astor was the one time editor/owner - I remember working at his London home in St John's Wood about 20 years ago, very rich, very left wing - he was always campaigning for Myra Hindley and visiting her in prison.

Earned some good wages when I was doing repairs and redecorations after water damage to various ceilings
and walls. That house must be worth many millions now.

One of the biggest complaints about VAR has been the lack of communication to broadcasters and people in the stadium. FIFA appears to have made significant progress with that complaint. Broadcasters will automatically get information on their screens about VAR checks and reviews and the TV/stadium screens will show the definitive replay after a review.
