QPR apparently interested. I guess it would make sense for them, especially with Ramsay there and to Fredericks overall decent display for Middlesbrough.
Queens Park Rangers are interested in a move for Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate Ryan Fredericks, according to getwestlondon.
The 22-year old impressed on loan at Middlesbrough last season, and R’s boss Chris Ramsey knows him well from his time at Spurs.
The arrivals of Deandre Yedlin in January and Kieran Trippier last month, in addition to first-choice right-back Kyle Walker, have left Fredericks’ first-team prospects looking none too bright.
The Spurs youngster enjoyed his most productive loan spell last season at the Riverside, after previous stints at Brentford and Millwall, and his form led to some calls for him to be included in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans next season.
That no longer appears to be an option and a move to Loftus Road could be one to suit all parties. QPRacquire a promising defender with experience at the top end of the Championship, Fredericks gets to reunite with his old academy coaching staff and Spurs shift a surplus player from their bloated squad.
One stumbling block could be the player's valuation, however, with Daniel Levy reportedly demanding £3 million for his sale.
It’s uncertain whether the R’s would be willing to stump up that kind of sum for a developing full-back, but the 22-year old's time at Spurs looks to be nearing its end nonetheless.
