Even if the first report was being dramatic, it's bad enough with a fractured skull, bleed on the brain and an emergency operation. Get well soon Ryan.

Fuck!!! Really hope he's okay he's Spurs through and through and seemed like a top guy. Cahill must be feeling awful.

Felt physically sick when I saw that article pop up.

Never have I wished more for an article to be heinous clickbait.

Ryan, along with Harry brought my love for Spurs back in a time where I'd become disillusioned with all football.

All I know is the local paper has said he went to the major trauma unit so he's in a bad way. Really really hope he makes a full recovery.

Was just having a look at a few of the other articles and it's only the Mirror that's said about bleeding on the brain, so hopefully they're just guessing and are off the mark. Only concrete info is that he's in a major trauma unit, assuming he'll be receiving the highest level of care and hopefully will be back on the pitch soon.

I really hope the Mirror's exagerrating, but I have a sickening feeling they wouldn't run with this if it wasn't true :(

BBC Radio Humberside reporting that Hull City are "not currently able to confirm national media reports concerning the severity of Ryan Mason's head injury" which is far from a denial :(

The night he equalised against forest in the league cup and we ended up with 4 or 5 youth players (Kane, Townsend etc) was one of my favourite games in recent years
