Conceded! Well done Jamie Donaldson. Well done Europe!

And bloody good golf from players on both teams. Talented guys, the lot of them.

The comebacks from rose and gmac today, just killed the yanks off...they had momentum ripped away from them and no chance of medinah or Brookline repeat after that

I don't really know the etiquette of golf (I only ever have a passing interest every two years), but it seemed a bit classless from that Yank to concede there and not let him have the putt to win the Cup. Or is that not the case?

He had to win the hole to stay in the match...Bradley already taken two and was way off green, Donaldson was inside a ft in two...would have been a bit pointless to get him to hole it so no slight meant by Keenan...he would have just wanted ti shake hands and lpget out of there for euros to start celebrating....great Sergio wins to pile on the pain

Technically we had retained it anyway so a handshake for the all out win is fine, probably better than setting up and missing a tiny putt.

Fair enough. It just seems there's more glory in sinking a putt to win than being closer on the green and your opponent conceding.

In all the drama, missed how poulter contrived to go from leading to only square his match...all in all had a shocker...although his chip in yesterday played a massive part in turning the momentum our way

I was a little bit surprised, but I can understand it. He wasn't going to win.

Think this will be the last Ryder cup for both Poulter and Westwood unless their form improves over the next 2 years.
Westwood must be inline for the captaincy in the next 10 years.
Personally i would keep Mcginley for the next one.
