Dont really know how i feel about this situation. Our recent form has been worrying and i am not sure that Redknapp has the strength of leadership to get us through the business end of the season. The year we did finish 4th we lost a winnable f a cup semi final against struggling Portsmouth and confidence was elevated due to that wonder goal by Rose against arse in the next game. Then we beat chelsea and it was game on. This year, of the top teams we have beaten Arse once and Newcastle once.

Last season, we missed out by two points. Defeats at home to Wigan didnt help. In November of that season Redknapp was talking about winning the league and by February he was telling us fans to stop whining cos we never had it so good. We have a similar collapse this season....at the moment anyway.

Our next 6 (possibly 7) games will be critical for him. I have never been his biggest fan. He contradicts himself so often in interviews which makes me think he doesn't know what he's on about half the time or he just talks too much. His criticism of the fans last season pissed me off. This season's "collapse" has been down to him. Tactically poor away at Arse; persisiting in playing Bale on the right at Everton for 80 mins; poor defensively at home to Man U despite dominating for long periods; and getting it so wrong when it really mattered at home to Norwich.

If he does indeed blow it and England don't come calling i think he will have to fall on his sword. He can't keep allowing his team to collapse at the end of each season. Certainly Fergie wouldnt allow it would he? Is that what we need however? I am not sure, as a replacement would have to have the stature to impress the current squad and i am not sure how many available managers fit the bill.

Confusing situation. Hopefully we will win 7 games on the trot and this debate will be rendered useless.

Let's not forget he maliciously made a profit on the Telly-Tubby from Egypt and on Crouchinho - all just to spite us fans

I can now say that I there's probably grounds to let him go.

The players are clearly no longer with him. The only issue is that a caretaker manager might create even more long term stability problems.

I'm afraid we're gonna have to suck it up till the end of the season.

Can't afford to sack him, can't afford to miss out on the England compensation. It's a waiting game now, won't get sacked until England get a new manager and it's not Harry.

With a caretaker, benefitting from the honeymoon period, for just 5 games, we might have an opportunity to get Champs league! Champs league money is much more than what the compensation will offer.

Poor very poor-after viewing our semi final defeat against Chelsea.

Harry's done his best and thanks, but its time to move on. People are quick to write King off but I'm sorry Gallas is a spent force he along with Cudicini, Defoe, Modric if he plays up has been atrocious of late, Saha, Friedel, Nielson should all follow Harry out of the door.

England compensation is not going to make up for lost Champions League money...

The only upside I can see is that we only another 5 games, which we should expect to lose, where we might have to listen to how grateful we should be to have Henry Redknapp as our manager. Can't wait to see the back of him.
