Following November’s Government announcement, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has received approval for licensed safe standing in seated areas from 1 January, 2022.

For many years, the Club and fans have campaigned for standing to be reintroduced and we are delighted that our first home game of the New Year against Morecambe on Sunday 9 January will be one of the first at which standing will be allowed in nearly 30 years.

As it costs more to provide safe standing , as well as a safety bar a seat is also required shouldn't safe standing prices be increased then the rest of us happy with just a seat could have prices reduced.:)

I'm confused, my season ticket is in the safe standing bit already? We always stand the whole game (south lower)

What is different about this?

Your seat might have the railings ect for safe standing but it hasn't been a safe standing area.

PL are trialing safe standing again from January to see if it can be reintroduced.

Yeah, I've sat down like three times - and only at half time. Seat has barely been used!
