Not going to happen. Can see Chelsea take him though, with Mourinho back in charge.

No denying his finishing ability, but Soldado would have to sit out if Eto'o was to sign. Highly, highly doubtful.

Not even worth it for shirt sales. Would be cheeky to have Eto'o though, of course.

Palmeri Tancredi tweeted that we'd enquired last night. So I knew it was horseshit.

According to Sky Italy not according to Tancredi.

The link in the OP refers to it but people have a habit of overlooking it when he says anything. A lot of other people do the same on Twitter.

The link itself requires a truck load of salt but his wages now aren't £250k a week, he got a lot of it upfront in a lump sum. Still, I don't expect it to happen, I think he'll go back to Inter.

Huge wages for little or no return, we can do better for the money

Huge wages yes but the comparison ends there for me. If Adebayor had his mentality we'd be better off.

I haven't followed him at Anzi but he still looks after himself and in the right team he can still contribute and be effective. He's only 32.

Only 13 and 10 goals in his last 2 seasons.

A little harsh as thats not taking into consideration the number of games as they play far fewer than Premiership teams. Hes still a 1 in 2 striker which is very good.

Sky Italia "expert" saying we are the closest to signing him...with Inter also interested.

They're talking about how it's amazing we're being linked to all these mega-players and look like holding on to Bale!
