Epic piece of commentary! Better than Neville.

My favourite ever Spurs player. Just such a nice, down-to-earth, fun person.

Loved this guy.

The picture of himself he put on Instagram I think it was with the caption "Charlie Adam the beast is watching you" after he had done another one of the spurs players sums him up.

shame injuries werent kind to him

The look at 0:52 is the stuff of nightmares.

Was it Sandro and Palacios paired together away at AC Milan or am I imagining that? Those two in the same team in their prime would have been brutal!
Sandro's performance in that game was one of the best in that position that I've ever seen. Was amazing.

Loved him. Such a shame to see him struggling after the knee injury.

Sorry earlier post made me want relive that game.Never realised just how theatrical Milan was, lot's of sly shit eating tackles. Was a proper Milan aswell Ibra,Thiago Silva,Nesta. What I would give to have Dawson's attitude in todays team, you know shit got real when Crouchy is up for rustling jimmies.Gattuso typical little man syndrome the ol hold me back JJ would have killed him.Anyhow unable to locate the Sandro and Palacios vid this shows just how immense they were together.

The run of bad luck we had with the demise of Palacios, Sandro and Wanyama must have Højbjerg looking over his shoulder...

Heart / power / commitment /skill / size / speed / would have been the ultimate defensive midfielder lacking only one thing
" luck with injuries " with that failing to be added to a long list of players such as Armstrong who was unplayable unto that long term injury
If I could have one reasonable wish to be granted ref spurs it would be good luck with injuries .

Himself & Dembele were so good together.

it was a wall, when he got injured we never where the same ;(

great guy, so sad he should have gone down as a Spurs Legend!

Sandro, Wilson, Huddleston, victor all got injured and never recovered :(

Never seen that before, was unfortunately a year too young to be fully into football by that point. Jesus christ though that Flamini tackle is a fucking disgrace, he has no intent there other than to hurt him. I'll take Gattuso being a little prick all game long over horror challenges like that.

Also on the topic of Sandro my first thought is always this goal . Ridiculous strike and one I personally remember so well because the ball probably would have hit me in the face if the net hadn't been there!

I will always remember him for that goal against United, the passion he showed after scoring is something we've been missing in our squad.

He literally would've died for Tottenham. Class.

That was one tough game. That's the reason why I will always dislike Milan though, that team full of little bitches.

Subscription required, shame coz I loved Sandro & wouldn't have minded reading that

I never really thought I'd say this but personally I think a sub to The Athletic is well worth it.

I haven't read football journalism to any real extent for years but I do now - it's really good.
