I have reason to believe Spursking is dead.

Well, maybe not dead. At least, not running his impressive database of European (and the occasional African) footballers.

As it is the height of the transfer hub, I was looking for a reliable, unbiased and dedicated football player website to learn more about players. Specifically, I wanted to find out about the players we've been linked with, and see if he had any players with the initials 'O.K.' as per Scouts recent piece of ITK. So, of course, Scouting Management was right at the top of my list of 'must-see' resources.

Imagine my horror then, when I entered www.scoutingmanagement.moo.no into my browser only to be confronted with 'page not available'.

I assumed I had merely got the address wrong, so Googled 'scouting management' and, after searching pages of drivel about Lord Robert Baden Powell and so forth, there was nothing about our beloved Spursking's site.

Now panicking, I tried 'scouting management one to watch'. Still nothing.

I came onto SC immediately and searched for one of SK's posts, clicking on his link directly...and got that 'page unavailable' display once more.

Friends, this I fear is the end of Spursking. Looking back, the signs were there. He hadn't updated Younes Kaboul as a Spurs Player since his arrival. Then he allowed the signing of Mpoku go virtually unheralded.

I can only imagine Spursking has succumbed to the trail of smack addiction and pimp running that youths are all prey to.

If you're reading this SK, come back home and put the heroin behind you. We'll get you through this difficult time.

Love and hugs
Bill

Nah, he's just signed for Arsenal...& been instantly loaned out to TNS Solutions. They'll be dancing in the streets of that town.

Spursking - THFC SC legend....very nearly.

Reuters: With the signing of J-P Mpoku, widely believed to be his son, chief SC scout Spursking, announced his scouting retirement at 14:00 yesterday. SpursCommunity were unavailable for comment, but Spursking said "My work here is done, there is now an African at Tottenham for another 20 years at least. Spursking. Director of scouting management. www.scoutingmanagement.moo.no"

It is believed that he and his partner, AC Milan scout Marcel Desailly, have purchased a villa together in the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Maybe he finished school in Norway and now has to work and cannot commit the time to running scoutingmanagement and posting here? (and that is why he only posts as and when someone signs or something big happens)

Bill, you are so behind the times. I reported the tragic demise of scoutingmanagement.moonbase.0 weeks ago.

SS57, tell all.

Was there a proper memorial service? Were flags lowered? The last post sounded? Ashes of burnt videos of the Jupiler League scattered over the ground?

He's on the SC facebook group isn't he?

Someone check to see if he's updated his status to "Spursking is.......dead"

Sadly work blocks me from accessing facebook.

Not sure about that, actually. About half the berks on there claimed to be Spursking, including idlepete, Ladi and RSS. Don't think the real thing is there though.

I think this the moment where I should reveal that myself, Ladi, RSS and Spursking are all seperate facets of a particularly complex and disturbing case of multiple personality disorder.

(Don't tell any of the others though, they don't know)

I'm not suprised he left with the amount of abuse some of you gave him. He probably had enough.

If I don't tell you I'm going due to becoming old(er) and infirm and I disappear, you can send flowers.

In fact, you can send them now so I can enjoy them before I pop my clogs, that would be much more sensible.

As for Spursking, I hear he's in hiding and awaiting several new identities in the witness protection scheme.

I believe he is in Spain or Italy trying to convince Barca/Milan not to buy Adebayor/Drogba and offer them cheaper younger alternatives as recommended by Scouting Management so that he can still watch Ade/Drog in the Premier League
