If you're going to wait until we win something to celebrate an accomplishment, maybe wait until we're relegated to throw the toys out of the pram.

And what do I do if we finish mid table? Will my head explode?

Sorry Nailsy, you have been a bro since day but imo I am responding to a dumb post from a smart poster.

Good fun. I agree with @Spurrific though. We wank them off no end when they beat Stoke on a cold Monday night. Yesterday was a joke and the fans deserve to throw abit of bile at the players

Every team had had a blip this season (bar Leicester to an extent), I think ours was just more pronounced as it was at the end of the season.

I guess it's down to individual perspective. I won't get much stick over us finishing third so I see it as a huge plus to just finish in the top three. For those who are going to get ripped apart over the collapse in the last few games I can see the problem. The result on Sunday was embarrassing, and a bit of anger is understandable, but it's a massive over-reaction to say the manager should leave, or that we're a nothing club. But there are a hundred threads to discuss that in without clogging up this one as well.

The worst part is the numpties acting like nothing was wrong with it. More embarrassing than actually showing some emotion.

"Ooh look at me, I'm really level headed". Well done.

There's nothing wrong with showing some emotion, I even tapped my desk with my index finger when it happened. Quite hard too i'll have you know.

But after a while that becomes tempered with a little bit of rationality and sensibility, that comes sooner for some than it does others.

So the same could be said of people charging around the site with their ersatz anger, ****ing everything to do with the club and trying to pass their emotional inadequacy off as "true support" or something

"ooooh look at me i'm really really really really upset"......... "double upset....no, no, triple upset!, my upsetness knows no bounds and i'm a better person than someone whose upset levels aren't in my league"

Well done.

Hi @Archibald&Crooks

I'm sure you know that your long winded guff will be lapped up by your legions of fans on here. I've just got one question for you:

Have you ever stepped foot in the Octagon with another man, ready to do battle?

I'm not upset anymore. I'm pissed off because we all got conned into thinking this Spurs is different but they're not. We will never be faced with the sheer ineptitude of the other teams that was displayed this year.

That, and I have to go to work and not lamp every Arsenal fan that says anything to me. I didn't even fucking gloat once to them when we were above them, why do I have to endure their bile?! Why?

Your's irrationally

That's the whole point though isn't it? When it comes to the business end of the season we generally choke.

This has happened time and again, even going back to the 80's. The only two times I've seen us come up with the goods and rise to it was 1990 when we finished strongly to get third ( even though back then it didn't really mean anything ) and the year we got CL under Redknapp.

Like it or not it's ingrained in our club and although we thought Poch had rid us of it, obviously he has work to do still.
