Have you donated to SC? We'll be holding people up by the ankles and shaking them periodically through the day. Nows the time to pay for the unchecked spam yesterday. I love it when a plan comes together.

Fulham are competing with QPR for the signing of Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker, the Daily Mirror say.
Rangers – who have not made an offer for the 32-year-old – have long been reported to be keen on Parker, who played under Harry Redknapp at Spurs.
And it is claimed that Fulham are ready to make a £4m bid for him ahead of the new season.
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes tried unsuccessfully to sign Parker prior to Redknapp’s appointment as manager at Loftus Road last year.

Just know there is a lot of interest, more than reported so far in the press and if we have cover from incoming the it is a typical Levy deal.

He's done well when called upon but we're progressing and he's declining so it's time to go somewhere he can perform properly.

Thank you, I appreciate the response. Wouldn't begrudge the guy a move at all. He's served us well, is a great professional & would be of huge benefit to the likes of Fulham and Sunderland.

If we get Paulinho, this would make a lot of sense.

Pretty much this. Parker would become surplus to requirement. Parker was brilliant for us under Harry but it hasn't worked out for AVB. I think it's a big mix of not being able to work under AVB's system, his injury set back, being past his peak and not settling with Dembele as his partner as opposed to Modric.

I think Parker and Huddlestone will be sold as I believe both will have multiple clubs interested. I could see Livermore either sold with a big sell-on clause or loaned out to a DM-needy PL side as he could really boost his value after a successful campaign or even be relevant to us for squad depth.

Personally, I'd love to see Paulinho and a younger DM (younger than Livermore) to really round out our "Midfield 6." I personally don't feel we have a guy in the youth setup ready to do this at this point in time (Luongo still needs a PL loan). But, say we land that Junior Malanda kid from belgium who has a lot of experience from the Jupiler Pro League. And, with how multiple players have gotten on after making the jump from Belgium's top flight league to the EPL, he could realistically fill a role in squad at only 19 years old.

Metronome: Holtby, Carroll
Defensive Midfielder: Sandro, Paulinho, Youngster
Box-to-Box: Dembele, Paulinho

And simply rotate Paulinho/Dembele/Sandro in an attempt to keep them all healthy/fresh over the entire year.

It would be foolish to rely on Parker as our back up DM given Sandro's injury problems. Good enough for a relegation threatened side in a backs to the wall game, not a good enough CM for teams with real top 4 aspirations.
