I'm still thinking, after Di Canio's statement about wanting some English grit in his midfield last week, that Sunderland may make a move for Mr Parker. Di Canio loves 'proper' professionals, people who lead by example and act in the correct manner, both on and off the pitch. That's about as close to a description of Scotty Parker as you'll find anywhere in football. I know there's nothing out there that suggests this is likely, it's just a feeling I've had since Di Canio made that statement last week and everybody assumed he was talking about Huddlestone.

Only if he agrees terms.
If someone like Fulham are looking at him as well then he might hold off to see if they will make an offer

Dont blame him for turning down QPR for Fulham. No chance should an England international player be playing in the Championship and Parker still have Premiership football in him.

So, if the stories are to be believed, the price was £2 million for 'Arry.

And £3.5 million for Big Martin Jol.

I would have thought we would have had to pay him a 'sweetener' to go - loyalty bonus and all that. Of course we've saved his wages, but it won't have been £3.5-4m clear though I wouldn't think. Mind you we all get in hang ups over what a player is worth when we really don't know much about the way it works I suppose. Scott out and who new in?

Bye bye scott remember things go round in circles this time next year could be another london club wanting you to sign :)

I am dissapointed to see him leave really like him but we are trying to move up a level and he wants to play first team football not be a sub. Fair play to him.

Glad he's going to Fulham as opposed to West Ham. Much nicer Club!!!

Never believed he would dismiss prem offers for the Championship.

don't have any soft spots for any other team, but if I did - Fulham would be up there :)

Good choice for him. Get him in against the Gooners on Saturday.

So if Parker ever where to write a book about his career it would be fair to suggest the title: roundabout: Living in cirles?
