Parker wants to go, Sullivan wants him to stay according to SSN. Sullivan's son twittered apparently.

Ledley interviewed too, didn't say much just want the window shut, Modric stuff doesn't help. Doesn't know owt when asked about Crouch. Also SSN understands Stoke just waiting for international clearance on Palacios who has had medical. Fee 8 million...

Didn't we pay 12?

This was all SSN just now Steve?

Parker transfer delay - why

- Parker wanted to come
- Harry wanted to sign him
- At 30 his transfer fee will be low
- His wage expectations will be within our limits
- West Ham need the money

I really can't see why it's worth starting the season without a DM when we could have signed Parker at the start of the window. Surely knocking a few million off isn't worth disrupting the whole club?

I can understand last minute deals for big money deals but this guy is cheap.

Dhazza was saying earlier today over at SO that this wasn't done yet. I guess since it contradicted POTL, it wasn't admitted

The delay has been 2 years people. So i wouldnt worry about the last day or so.

This deal will happen now its gone this far

Im just pleased that Harry will be signing a Harry player. For better or for worse, its fair he gets judged using the players he wants!

True but if we decided last week we weren't willing to pay Diarra what he wants then why we have been mucking about with the Parker transfer ?
This is all guesswork, but once we have decided Diara is a no-goer (and Harry claims deal not dead) then we moved on to Parker

I am not inspired by Parker siging anyway.

Because Levy doesn't want him.

Then he should pay up to get Diarra or get a manager that has more imagination than only signing players who have played for him before or played in the Prem, who knows we might have taken a gamble on someone like Casemiro, M'Vila or Sissoko. Hell while we laugh at him I think Spursking could do a better job of picking players than our manager.

The jury is already in on his players and the verdict isn't good.

Because transfers aren't as straight forward as many of us think they are?

Most people like to blame agents, can we just blame the agent and then close this thread until Parker signs or the window closes. I'm not sure what we'll achieve in this thread other than slating Harry/Levy for what we believe is happening behind the scenes yet actually have no idea about.

I know Kran is not CM!!! That's my point... We are so light in the middle Harry is playing him CM.

Mate you are deluded!!!!! You think sticking with Livermore and Hudd will help us push for top 4 this season????

As i said before... Mods, Sandro, Parker, Diarra. They are the only 4 we need to push us forward and raise the quality of our team.

Livermore will NEVER be a star at Spurs. He will be sent out on loan 'again' and then move on like O'hara. Great lad but not good enough! Penas should not be in the squad! Palacios i don't mind but looks like he's on the way out. Hudd has great passing ability... THATS IT!!!! Nothing else... He can't sprint, win a header, or tackle and to be honest, judging by his recent performances, i think he knows his days are numbered if Parker and Diarra arrive.

Parker is not coming to sit on the bench behind Sandro, Modric and if we did get Diarra. If he comes he will be starting thats why I think we should stick with Hudd see what livermore can do for us and try get Diarra and concentrate on are original problem the strikers. Remember even with are original guys that was not piority CB and ST are.

Palacios, Keane, Defoe, Crouch and Bassong are just a few of the 24 players brought in by Harry (a full squad). Are you saying he didn't want any of these players? Then why did he sign them. Seems like if it's taken 24 players to get to the first "Harry" signing then he's incompetent.

In fact, we have no real idea why the Diarra 'deal' appears to have died in the water. Most people would prefer Diarra, I think, so it's not a surprise that we persevered with negotiations until this late in the window. Should there have been a Plan B in place? Probably, but we don't know that there wasn't one. Would it have been easy to get Parker at the start of the window? Who knows?

If the Jury is out then how can you know what the verdict is?

I said the jury was in:

Defoe - poor
Keane - sold
Palacios - sold
Kranky - arry wants to sell him
Bassong - not deemed good enough for the team
Crouch - utter garbage even if arry won't admit it
Sandro - did arry really know anything about him
VdV - good player that the manager has failed to find a system for
Walker/Naughton - half decent
Cudicini - poor even as back up
Friedel - too early but I'd rather we played Gomes

Did I miss any spectacular arry signings ?
