with our current bunch strikers..and its definately possible they will be our main strikers again for another season, as well as VDV probably having a start stop season, and sandro probably being off the pace till probably november and modric calling in sick more than usual I'm going with...

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. United
4. Arsenal
5.Liverpool
6.Spurs

FA Cup- United
League Cup -Chelsea
Champ league- Barca
Europa- not us

"to finish 6th is terific with what city and liverpool have spent, and arsenal, chelsea and united will always finish above us, so its terriffic achievement really and its as good as it can possibly get because we'll never finish above the arsenals of the world"

roll on 2 weeks time!

I don't think Liverpool will be as strong as everyone is suggesting. They won't challenge for the title, and they'll struggle to finish top 4. Arsenal are in a very precarious position indeed. We have another opportunity to crash the top four party, but we haven't sorted out the squad soon enough to make a proper go of it.

We're 28/1 to be top at the end of August ... well down the list. Can't seem to find one for the bottom.

Start as you mean to finish with positivity, I don't doubt the arrival of a new frontline amongst other signings either.Think one or two players like Hernandez and Odemwingie won't have as much success as last season. They are known quantity's now and seen many player's suffer poor second season's in comparison to their first. To much upheaval at Liverpool Gerrard is out til September atleast and Downing will soon be found out.Just ask any Villan the boy has no fight in him rarely tackles made a total 6 fouls all last season, just pipped Albrighton as best player. That an Liverpool have a shedload to get rid of in deadwood not to forget all new signings playing means a totally revamped midfield where we know most match's are won and lost.

Manure looking great tearing up some soft US teams.Spanking new young keeper, have lost three very influential personalities in the dressing room VDS,Scholes and G Nev.Be surprised to see Ferdinand feature to often outside key games with constant injury and age, relying on Phil Jones to hit the ground running. It is one thing to shine at Blackburn quite another at yanited 1st season with only Smalling as backup due to the sale of Brown and main utillity man O'Shea.

Man City seem most settled with not much incomings any outgoings won't effect them.Just depends on wether anti football Mankini can frustrate enough opposition to get sufficient points to win the league.Aguero is indeed top dollar but even he will not be immune to the cold weather or late tackling often found at the more aggressive lower league teams alot depends on Tevez for me since he is the main man and is well seasoned in this league.

Chavsk have lost their chief enforcer for a duration and have being using fatboy lumptard in a deeper role with his aging legs.Still yet to acquire the central creative spark having being flicked the bird by us Pastore to PSG and Neymar to Real.Oh forgot to mention the new manager with new ideals being put to very egotistic players.I expect them to be around for sure but any slumps in form this season,I doubt they have it in them to resurrect the situation as they did last year.As was pointed out on here somewhere we shared equal spoils before a tragic end of season form compared to them.

Can't comment much on arse to many questions yet to be answered before season starts.Either way we are definitely closer to them than we have being in quite a while,I expect nothing less next season other than us above them finally.Just to clarify whilst it is very optimistic to believe we will win the league it is also important to understand life is not exactly very rosey at our rivals either and there really is no standout team for next seasons title as was shown by all teams hitting bad patch's at various times last season that and the majority of mid to lower clubs are no longer the soft touch's they once were.

1. man city
2. man utd
3. tottenham with one quality signing, no signings drop to 4th, two quality signings 1st or 2nd are realistic
4. arsenal#
5. chelsea - swap with arsenal if they sign some quality.
6 sunderland#- good team ethic if gyan goes however could slip right down to 10th
7. liverpool - over rated - IMHO have made average signings. no signing is better than what we have already.

LOL @ anyone who thinks Liverpool will finish above us.

We will finish at WORST 3rd. Times a changing, we're mixing it with the big boys now, and we're as much of a threat as Chelsea, City and Arsenal to Utd's crown.

With Crouch leading the line we're never going to be a threat to get into the CL spots. Last season we wernt - this season everyone around us has impoved. So how do you figure we are as much of a threat? Granted if we sign a striker or two, but at the moment we havn't, so we're not.
