South Stand 203, Row 53, Seat 340. It wasn't the one I'd ear-marked (long since evaporated), but I'm absolutely made-up regardless. Waited so many years to get a season ticket at WHL....and now I've been and got in one in the noisy end. Anyone nearby, feel free to shout! I ain't got no history!

Official site playing up a bit for me today. However, does anyone know if it still shows your ST waiting list number anywhere? I've completely forgotten mine although I believe fairly high up, but can't see it anywhere.

And do I understand it that I will be offered as part of phase 5 if my waiting list number is below 4000?

This. 1882 thing is turning into an absolute clusterfuck. Not even the central seats have been sold.? I will be very interested to see how they fix this if they don’t sell as I would imagine quite a few people couldn’t get in the south stand because of it. I’m a Levy fan. But this is looking like a terrible idea. If it wasn’t his. I would imagine the minion who’s idea it was is currently holed up in the pit of misery.

If you're on the waiting list now, you get offered after phase 8 if there are tickets left.

They will definitely be sold. I doubt the club were expecting any of the normal riff raff like us to take them up.
They would have done their research from the premium sales which have been going for well over a year. I’d imagine that once the 8 phase are over they will be able to sell them on general sale to people they know are interested

Exactly the remainder 1882 will be sold to corporate. Companies will buy 10/20 at a time.

That’s a terrible thought. At least those who are worried about us standing in the south stand will be happy because that lot won’t be.

There are still two windows to offer the 1882's to AND 60k+ on the waiting list.
They'll sell out.

I was 55k on the waiting list for Wembley and got one. Eventually they'll sell.
They're only £205 more than the teal coloured section in the East and West upper midway sections and they look to have completely sold out.

The fact that you were 55k on the waiting list and still got the opportunity to buy a season ticket shows that there are a lot of people on the waiting list with absolutely no intention of buying a season ticket. I'm not saying they won't all sell, eventually (and probably to a mixture of fans and corporate) but surely, if they had really been such good value as some have been saying, they would have been one of the first brackets to sell out.

This will have been a factor for many people. I come into London from a north easterly direction (I live in Norfolk) which means the Lane is rather convenient (park at Cheshunt, get on train, get off train, walk to ground). Wembley on the other hand is an absolute ball-ache and I bet there were plenty of people in East Anglia who just thought "no thanks" as a result.

Yep, that will have definitely have been a factor as well. It's also worth considering that the farther down the list you get the less likely people are going to be ready to suddenly spunk £2200 on a season ticket. I was 40k on the waiting list and really didn't expect to get the chance to buy one at Wembley, so when the chance came along I could only stretch to the cheapest tickets.

On the contrary, I suspect many of those ahead of me only declined because it was Wembley and may be more likely to spend the money at the lane.

I suspect that most never expected to be offered a season ticket. Like me they were members in order to be able to buy the odd ticket for games and therefore were on the waiting list. Personally Wembley is easier to get to and the pricing was a lot better with concessions everywhere and 40% not 50% of the new prices. So everyone is different and had different reasons fo taking or not taking a season ticket

Doesn't show anything definitively.

On the contrary, I suspect many of those ahead of me only declined because it was Wembley and may be more likely to spend the money at the lane.

But many of those who declined Wembley would also have known they were unlikely to then get the chance of a season ticket at NWHL, possibly for years to come. This is why I think that the majority of those that declined Wembley just don’t have any intention of buying a season ticket, regardless of location.

Also, how many of them would have expected that, should they get the chance of a season ticket at NWHL after passing up Wembley, it would cost them £2200? Would they still have made that decision if they’d known?

Doesn't show anything definitively.

You’re right, it’s not definitive and we won’t know for sure either way until next season. There is a rationale backing up my thinking however and I’m yet to see a good argument for why the 1882 seats haven’t sold well after 3 quarters of the sales phases have passed.
