Recycling a small plastic card cannot be more expensive than trying to recycle a mobile phone.
And producing a plastic entry card cannot be more expensive than mobile phone production.
What? What does recycling and the cost of a phone have to do with anything? The club isn't buying phones for the people coming to matches since they already own them. They would have to pay to buy thousands of little plastic cards.

I think they just need till have a crn which they can do for free

Thank you very much. I don’t post much but lurk often because of my unquenchable thirst for ITK and you are one of my favourite posters. Now you have saved me £43 as I was just about to sign my friend up as a member. Cheers

Ahh please double check that as I’m not 100%, but I think your friend just needs to register on the below link, then you add them to your network in ticketing services, then you can transfer it to them.

And thank you for the kind words ?

So all the hype about digital technology entry to the stadium and you end up with a plastic card with a photo , I have something like that it's called a driving licence.
Somehow don't think your driving license is going to scan at the turnstile

Ok this Covid mallarkey - I have the passport so covered. My son is 17 and unjabbed. So he needs to do home test and upload to NHS app for proof - is that right ?

Best check the website info wasn't there something about under 18's don't need a test.

Just found it , not needed under 18.

• U18s are exempt and will only require a valid match ticket for entry

Entry requirements for the 2021/22 season
• Following the Premier League’s announcement, adult supporters should be prepared to show they have been fully vaccinated or have received a negative test result no more than 48 hours prior to kick-off when attending matches this season
• Entry requirement further ensures the safety and comfort of our supporters, players and staff as we welcome capacity crowds for the first time since March 2020
• U18s are exempt and will only require a valid match ticket for entry
• Supporters will be asked to abide by Code of Conduct

We having trouble flogging tickets for Sunday’s game? I’ve never been emailed by the club so much offering a chance to buy game tickets & I’ve not even renewed my membership this year

Attendance is down around the world in all sports right now. Not only are people still nervous about being packed in with so many people, but most people didn't come out of the pandemic in a financially healthy state to spend on entertainment. It's going to take some time.

Has anyone who put up their tickets on the exchange had a bite yet?

Normally they get snapped up very quickly, although I realise that these are not normal times and I’m guessing a lot of ST have put their tickets up.

I went on the website to see availability and strangely it only brings up a few different areas, but then when you click on the whole map it looks like there’s thousands still available everywhere.

Yeah mine is up and I have a front row seat of the upper tier. Usually gone in seconds. No bites in 2 days.

Not put mine up as I'm going to match but in all blocks of general admission there is something like 10% availability ,add it all up probably something like 5000 seats available doubt there will be many sales.
A lot of it probably down to covid , some fans may have gone away on holiday or is the ID verification putting fans off plus the membership has dropped by around 50,000 so ST's may have trouble selling all season. In the same way that online shopping has boomed and some stores like John Lewis are shutting stores have some fans found out after lockdown do they really miss going to a match .

Got to admit I did not enjoy football during lockdown partly Jose partly as it was all I was doing (on tv obvs). Got to say went to Mk dons and it was great so can’t wait to get going again. unfortunately can’t go until the fourth home game due to other commitments. I think we will fly under the radar this year.

Agree with that for the dedicated fans but will some of the two or three games a season fans return or will they find all the ID verification, mobile phones having iphone/Gpay/NFC and supplying a covid pass too much bother .
