Agree with that for the dedicated fans but will some of the two or three games a season fans return or will they find all the ID verification, mobile phones having iphone/Gpay/NFC and supplying a covid pass too much bother .
My dad went to the arsenal game and said it was a hassle, albeit he is not the best with tech. I think you make a good point about membership dropping 50k, there is no incentive to have one and build up points as away games are a closed shop, may as well save £50. I used to go to most midlands and northern games as a member.

I checked out a relative who is registered on the ticket database who is not a club member but there is still the ID verification button in his account to be completed . So I assume even non-members have to do that and I am not completely clear if someone like him if he didn't have a compatible phone does he just get a paper ticket or what . I can see this putting a lot of people off getting tickets but the club are not that bothered they already have the season ticket money regardless of whether a seat is sold on TE or not.

I know the Man City went to guest sale but looks like it's also on general sale , my non-member relative checked out his account and it appears he would be able to buy a ticket if he wanted, doesn't bode well for the rest of the season if Spurs can't sell out to members as well as non-members. Better hope we challenge at the top of the league or nobody will be selling their ST's apart from The Woolwich game.

Mate, they all live in New Malden...

Think your right , didn't realise how many lived here..
Wiki Entry

"According to different sources, as of 2014 there were about 10,000 ethnic Koreans in New Malden proper, and as of the same year the Korean population in the area around New Malden is around 20,000, including about 600 originating from North Korea, giving it the largest group of North Koreans in Europe"

I know, I live here :D

There'll be plenty of Spurs shirts at the station on Sunday afternoon.

Only just realised it’s just us Chelsea and Brighton insisting on vaccinations. The majority of empty seats will definitely be Covid related some people just can’t be arsed with the hassle.

Agree, but that’s not good re the vaccinations imo. Probably not the thread for it, but can see a big spike in cases once the football season gets going.

Nobody is insisting on vaccinations…. You don’t need to be double jabbed you can just show a negative lateral flow test ?‍♂️

Mine sold on the exchange this afternoon. Can't get into the account cashback section to transfer the money to my bank account though.

Keeps going back to the main screen when I click on it.

It was showing there were 12% left on my block when I checked earlier. 69.50 to the buyer. 65 to me if it sells. Gonna have to take a hit on this I reckon and for most of the season.

Why can't ST holders offer discounts on tickets they want to sell , it's going to be very hard to sell this season on the evidence of the first game . When the club allowed selling via stubhub you could ask whatever you liked for a ticket sale , so why not now allow sellers to recoup some of their outlay now when demand is very low. ?

If they do this it'll incentivise memebrs to not buy from the club and wait for discount exchange tickets whilst supply is this high...

If that 12% is mirrored over the stadium it’s about 6/7 k. I’d guess quite a few that don’t sell will end up going. If we get North of 55k for this game in the circumstances we’ve done very well.

Good point but if Sunday's attendance is down by the 10-15% as indicated by the seats available on TE the club is going to lose
a bit in food and drink sales, everyone is a loser.

All I can say is that with White Hart Lane station being closed (ridiculous, gonna have to cycle) the new ST system, the ID verification, the Covid pass, and the queuing systems, it's gonna be a fucking mission getting into that stadium tomorrow.
