Renewed, I fucking hate myself
I’m justifying it by knowing they would just sell my ticket anyway and probably get more for it on a game by game basis. So, by renewing I’m screwing them out of a few extra £££

Been a ST holder for 25 years this stint, with a pause in the mid 90’s 10 years before that from a Junior ST - first game as a 6 year old in 1979. From walking to the ground from home 10 mins away in those early days to the trip now down from Cambridge, it’s so much part of my life.

I will renew, still haven’t yet. However will no longer spend pre and post match in the ground, which normally comes in at about 40/50 quid a game. The group I sit will do the same. They spend there or thereabouts too.

‘Going over the spurs’ is in the blood. It’s so much more than the game, thankfully as that has become a chore. It’s Mates, faces of old, a release, treating my sister and niece when I can….

Yep, I will part with a few quid for the ticket, my protest will be the beer, food and merch embargo I’ll put in place. Small change I guess but not going to let one man cut off my blood supply that is and has been the fabric of my life.

Very weirdly as I type this, my new neighbour who I haven’t got to know, no idea who he supports is in his garden whistling to his baby daughter ‘glory glory’. Straight up. Has to be a message to hang in there……

This is the way I’m going too. I’ll pay for the ticket but they aren’t having any more of my money. That’s it now.

I was at Beyonce with the good lady her indoors last night and the stadium is a fantastic venue for a concert. The club commercial operations are ran very well £45 t-shirts and £100 hoodies were flying out the club shop. (The Mrs had one). The best (and noisiest) night in the ground for a long time. Levy has me over a barrel even with going to hear some live music.

I can't see Levy going anywhere. Can only hope the commercial developments continue to make us an even more attractive proposition for a take over.

... and oh yeah, I renewed today.

Renewed due to deadline and ensuring I get my same seat. Feels very wrong.

Actually so disappointed in the club. Setting a deadline that forces many to renew with no idea on the future direction.

Struggled with whether to renew or not. My Wife with the wisdom of “they’ve been shit before, they’ve been good before. Over the decades you’ll have it (hopefully) there will be good times and there will be more shit times. That’s football.”

sound logic tbf. I gave my seat up last year as i dont live near enough to warrant the commitment when we are crap as much as anything else, and can always pick up loads of tickets on the exchange when desired (and also knowing that wont have enough loyalty points to go to any big finals etc until i'm about 50).

but i think the negativity online/at the stadium can very quickly switch the other way with a positive run of results it doesnt take much to turn. Even in the post Poch era we've had decent spells (even Nuno had a three game, 1-0 rampage) and the negativity washes away pretty quickly, long term stuff around levy etc gets pushed into the background when results are going well.

Renewed at full price as I got no responses to my emails about concessions. I am still trying to get answers to my questions about the seats of seniors who don’t renew and of juniors who become adults. They say that they want to keep the balance of ticket types around the stadium and the impression they give is that the concession is linked to a seat, rather than a supporter, so if I move I may be able to find a concession somewhere else, does that mean that juniors have to move when they become adults and another junior gets shipped into their seat?
You can’t look for a move (not that I want to) unless you renew first so you have to pay full price and I bet they won’t refund if you find a senior seat to move to. It’s bollocks!
it would be interesting to know how many concessions there were last season, compared to next.

There is a bit about concessions in this newsletter , might be worth joining THST if you are in a concession block and can't get the reduced price, they might be able to get answers.

This is why I just cant bring myself to renew . I love Tottenham Hotspur F.C but the owners are mugging us all . Everytime I go to the stadium I feel this more and more. I have emailed them about 5 times to cancel my membership and still the fuckers took the direct debit today. .I will join the imaginary waiting list at some point in the future but for now there's a seat in the Shelf for someone else to have , and it has broken my heart...COYS

Just claim it back , if you have copies of emails you sent, even better.

Anyone know what process is of trying to add a junior seat to sit alongside you? Assuming the seat is available, which I think it is.
