Season tickets

I believe the renewal date is sometime in May.

I have had a ticket for over 20 years now and I shall get a new one next year. Otherwise I have to go shopping with the wife at the weekend!

Just wondering if any of you guys and girls have thought about giving your season ticket up and, if so, why?

All the time, most recently after Burnley.
Football gets on my nerves, I only go to see people I wouldn't normally see.

I'm not lucky enough to have one, but I'll be upgrading my club membership this year to get on that waiting list - hopefully with the new stadium now looking more certain i'll be able to get one within 6-8 years!

I've been on the waiting list for over ten years now and I'm currently around 7100 so I'm hoping there's more "Yes's" than "No Way's" on this thread, however like most on the list the first chance I get to have a season ticket will be in our new stadium!

Anybody know roughly how many the list goes down by each renewal year? I think when I joined the list was at least as long as 15k, no idea what if us now though?

Gave up my season ticket a year ago (after having it for nearly 20 years) and don't regret it for one moment - luckily I have quite a few mates who still go and therefore often home game tickets up for grabs and most away fixtures. After last year's debacle it was a case of 'stick a fork in me, I'm done'!

I wonder what changed it from no waiting list in 2003/04 season to many thousands a season or so later. 2004/05 was the start of the Arnesen/Santini/Jol era, perhaps that was it.

I've been on the list for about 9 years. The way the support has been, not sure I want one anymore. Just stick to away, European and the odd Derby.

Yep. That was undoubtedly the beginning of the club's renaissance.

When I first bought my season tickets in the mid 90's, there were only about 16K season ticket holders, I think, and no waiting list.

Now, it's 23K season ticket holders and a paid "waiting list" of 47K.

Im playing the annual game of shall I shan't I renew my season ticket... Deep down I know by 5pm on Monday there is a higher than 95% chance I will have renewed.
