You'll never guess what's happened! Some bloke from up the road has just knocked and handed me my tickets as they'd delivered them to him by mistake!!!! I didn't know whether to kiss him or punch the postman!

Do both mate. That is well out of order. Do you think the fella knew what they were? That could have been a major source of aggro just before our biggest game this season.

if he didn't open it, he wouldn't know what it was. you're lucky he brought it round though anyway. some people do not give a shit about other people, and wouldn't have bothered. not even opened it and sold it on, just wouldn't bother to hand it on cause they don't give a shit

If they were sent by Special Delivery aren't they meant to arrive before midday, oh well that's another fail from Royal Mail for me, not that I was expecting anything different, my normal post doesn't arrive till about 2 or 3 in the afternoon most days.

Errrrm, from memory there're 9am, 1pm and 'next day' options... but I might be chatting shite!

To be honest I don't know if he'd opened it or not, my wife answered the door to him and came in wondering what it was whereupon I snatched the envelope out of her hand and ripped it open without looking at it but I guess he did know or at least he knew it was important as presumably he'd signed for it.
I only caught a glimpse of him and it had my name and address on it so I don't actually know where he lives but I shall find out and I will buy him a drink. What a very nice man, he's a very very nice man :) phew!

Got home this afternoon to find my tickets on the mat! Didn't have to faff around going to the post office on saturday morning like I'd feared.

There's no way to know what they are, the return address is somewhere anonymous and there are no clues on the envelope for obvious reasons. The tickets themselves are huge, about twice the size of our ones.

I just calculated the amount of money i spent on tickets this season & it came to over £800 - yet i still didnt get a ticket to the Semi & ive been to so many games, cant help but think "where's the loyalty in that" ?? - am truelly disapointed i wont be there.

Our wonderful postal service:eek:mg:.

I'm working away in Wales at present. I rang my wife last night to confirm that Royal Mail had tried to deliver the tickets. I was expecting to pick up the tickets from my local Tonbridge sorting office on Saturday morning, which is less than a mile from where I live. But no, the tickets have been returned to another Royal Mail office over 40 miles away.

Of course, the quoted telephone number on the card is just a recorded message and if you go online, the minimum amount of time to rearrange redelivery is 48 hours (i.e. Saturday at the earliest). Rather than risking non-delivery on Saturday, I'm taking a day off work tomorrow (at a cost of £400) for a 3-hour round trip, from home, to collect the tickets.

To think that we paid extra for this service.

The sooner that they privatise Royal Mail, the better.

With all due respect mate, I'd personally say that someone who spent £500 last season and £500 this season (or £100 a year for 10 seasons or whatever) would be more deserving of the 'loyal' tag (and therefore a ticket) than you! But keep it up, and you'll definitely be in line for an Champs League Final ticket next season!

Mine were pushed under my door yesterday afternoon, not even posted in the letterbox, nobody signed for them. At least I've got the tickets in my hand, but I'm fed up of Royal Mail providing such a shoddy service. There's no point in complaining as I've tried that before and they will just swear blind that somebody signed for it and that it was delivered before 1pm, their records say so.

And they want the taxpayer to bail out their pension scheme to the tune of £5.9 billion, maybe we should tell them the cheque is in the post.

You're not necessarily unloyal.

You're just less loyal than EVERYONE ELSE who will be at Wembley on Sunday! It's going to be a great day out!!

For those that missed the loyalty point cut off, two people who were on 126 points have received calls from the ticket office offering them tickets.

I'd suggest phoning them up and see if they have any more.

My Mrs has just rang me and no tickets for me either in todays post.Eek

Beware, just been onto ticket office and they have sent them to my mates old address despite all tickets coming to me this season.
Looks like if you have booked for others the tickets might go to them even though I was the lead name and paid for them!
Still trying to track them down.
