Not sure if anyone listened to the Times podcast last Thursday, but James Scowcroft - who's very straight talking and one of the best ex-footballer pundits to listen to I think - said that he's heard from various people (and he works in coaching himself) that Italian coaches are generally the best around and Italy is streets ahead of England in terms of how they teach their coaching and the quality of how they are taught on their coaching badges etc.
He said that coaching badges are so dumbed down and easy to get in England compared to other countries.
