I guess by the letter of the law disallowing the goal is correct but this offside rule is awful and needs to change.

Also Milik gets sent off for celebrating a goal that was disallowed, that isn't fair and also needs to change.

If you have a yellow card and take of the shirt you are an idiot even if the goal is disallowed or not.

Somehow the VAR missed an opposition player (out of camera shot) who is clearly playing Bonucci onside.

I don't how you make such a huge mistake, are they only looking at TV camera angles?

I would counter that anything that negatively impacts Juventus is just. Also good to see our lad Federico in there.

Not the first time it's happened.

That is simply ridiculous. I was annoyed to see the goal ruled out in the first place, Bonucci doesn't touch the ball. I didn't realise that the rules mean that if a player is offside but doesn't touch the ball, yet goes for it, it rules it out. Thought it would only count if he "interferes with play" by blocking the keeper or a defender or something. It may have been that way for years but I never thought it was the case.

Regardless, to see VAR miss that error is baffling. I refer Conte saying after the Marseille game that he doesn't get pissed off with refs but does with VAR and this is exactly why. It's brought in to help eliminate human error but the humans operating it are compounding errors and making them worse when they do so under VAR review.

Also, just to add. I really hate this booking rule for taking a shirt off. Milik was an idiot to do it after a yellow knowing it's the rules, but it is one rule that I hope to see abolished at some point. Really don't give a toss if a player takes his shirt off when celebrating. He can strip butt naked for all I care, they're just celebrating a goal ffs.

If that was against a spurs winner in the last minute, wow I don’t think I’d get over that for a long time!

It’s incredible to see that other angle and how they didn’t see the player by the corner flag :wideyed:

Juve haven't sacked a manager mid season for over a decade, any chance they'll actually do so this time?
Allegri is really going to test their resolve. They've spent quite a lot of money and wages on players he presumably wanted and they seem to be getting worse rather than better. Even with the injuries to Pogba and Chiesa they shouldn't be this bad.

Tuchel or Poch would both surely be upgrades, although maybe they'd go for an Italian manager? At the moment Jose is the only foreign manager at a big club there, and there are only 2 non-Italian managers in the entire league.

Makes you realise just how cosmopolitan the Prem is with from 13 different nationalities (if you include the 4 nations within the UK). In comparison Serie A has 3, the Bundesliga has 6, La Liga has 5 and Ligue 1 has 8.

Something needs to change. Otherwise it's not just Allegri that's the problem...

Whilst Tuchel annoys me, he's a good manager and I'd take him at Juve over Allegri. I'd be over the moon with Poch. If it were an Italian manager I'd like to see Gasperini as he has worked miracles with Atalanta. Although I doubt he'd move considering how well they're doing. Perhaps at the end of the season.

Pleased for Napoli, Simone should be the back up to Osimhen.
