Townsend had a good game, apart from some diabolical corners. Gio also had some diabolical corners, but also just wasn't very good in general.

Think we should've gone a bit more all-out for the fifth just in case something happened in Greece, but all in all a decent game from most of the players out there today.

Thought Livermore was our best player tonight, barring the redcard he avoided :lol:

Townsend did well I thought, I like that he is direct and will try to take his man on.

Pienaar started well but had less influence as the game wore on, Kranjcar looks unfit and ran out of gas, but had some good touches. Sandro I thought was maybe slightly below par and looked rusty.

And now we get to Mr. Dos Santos, sorry but what a waste of space this guy. We dont need him to come and get the ball off of the centrebacks, and when in the opposition's third he rarely chooses the right option. I think Falque did more in his two minute cameo than Gio managed all game. Lets get rid now and sell him for whoever will stump up any money for him.

Glad that Kane grabbed a goal, maybe some people will get off his back now.
