I have bitten my tongue long enough. I honestly think he would be available in Jan...........please do it.
Or maybe not write players off after five minutes?

Yep exactley, lets give Gomes til January at least, he is a quality goalkeeper who right now is very low on form, he just needs more hugs from Harry and he'll be fine, maybe that Chinese tonight will cheer him up a bit.
No. Merely indulging in a little hyperbole at the expense of those who love to write our players off in as short a time as possible.

Only Spurs fans could focus on the one negative from a night when we won 4-2 and saw some quite brilliant performances from our players all over the park.
Thank fucking fuck you're not a Chelsea fan.
Through a straw, presumably.
I hope he proves me wrong but why did we get rid of Robbo?
Come on chaps, quickly? Read my posts never slag a spurs player off but the lad is not up to the English game at the moment IMO. If he can be trained otherwise then great but how many games like tonight can you put up with?
Good and sensible post:clap:Pick the key phrase from that clause.
Before the Arsenal game Gomes was one of the OPTA top five keepers on the saves/shots rating. That doesn't say everything, but it says a good deal (at least according to those who used it to write off Robbo). Right, there is a big difference between the EPL and Eredivisie—in Holland you don't have anywhere near so many high balls into the box, or six-footers piling in with elbows flying, so there is going to be a degree of adjustment.
We are far too fond of writing off players on the basis of a handful of games, and of changing opinions on the same basis.
