Great to reach Wembley. Considering what Poch has got to work with, this is a terrific moment & would it be superb if we could win the whole shabang.

It seems Spurs are back to their 'coronary-inducing' ways with that horror show for the last 15mins. They were good crosses from Sheff Utd's Murphy, but Eriksen should've closed the ball down faster for their 1st & Vertonghen got put on his backside way too easy for their 2nd goal. What's additionally frustrating is that Stambouli did virtually zero to close down Adams. Aside from those moments we bossed the game & ought to have been out of sight, but we didn't finish them off. Credit though to the fact that we didn't just 'abandon ship', but carried on & got the very least we deserved.

Lamela provided a point of frustration because he seemed to never be able to make up his mind whether to drive at the defence, or pass. There were at least three instances where he did that & either got dispossessed, or the move broke down. He has the ability to do either, but just doesn't.

Dembele, in the advanced position, was gold. His ability to keep hold of the ball in opposition's third is absolute gold & allows his team-mates to get in around & support. Massively disappointed when he went off, which isn't something I say often.

With the exceptions of Davies, Stambouli, Lamela & Vorm, I would be more than happy to see that Spurs team line-up for our league matches. Hopefully come March 2nd 2015 we'll be remembering how our Spurs did so well to win the League Cup.

I agree that Dembele is a powerhouse and battles everyone off the ball but I am disappointed with his productivity. He wins the ball, makes ground but never makes a defence penetrating pass. Its like pennon's problem, brilliant approach play with little end product.
Lamela is more frustrating. He undoubtedly has great talent, especially dribbling skills but how many times last night did he run into SU players and lose the ball or try to pass through the SU defence and hit the first man. Do they have stats for number of times a player loses possession?
We used to have Modric able to thread passes through to the front 2/3 but the only telling pass last night that split the SU defence was Harry Kane to Eriksen for the second goal
