I'm going to stick a tenner on Klinsmann. Won't stay in USA for ever. Time to come home Jurgen.

I think he would be good- I saw him speak at SXSW in Austin last month, on the World Cup and making football popular in America. He came across very well- very clever and constantly learning. Had clear ideas what a manger could or could not influence.

He talked about passion and some nitwit in the audience asked him "how do you teach passion?" His answer- "that's what you cant teach".

He has such a nice job there though, very well respected plus American wife, and no doubt lots of dough,so whether he would really want to come back to London and have to compete with clubs with infinite resources, i don't know.

Clearly LVG should be our number one.

But Pochettino still appeals to me a bit. A bit more of a gamble yeah, but if we can't get any of the bigger names I'd be up for it.

Has got them playing a really nice brand of football. The only thing that concerns me is that they do drop off the pace they set for themselves sometimes. Like they press from the front very well for periods and then then they tail off in that respect.

But the likes of Soldado and Lamela, could be a very tasty combination that - with a manager who can relate to them directly. They're our record signings and this guy would manage them infinitely better I reckon.

He's US manager and DoF through 2018. Just signed an extension. My man Jurgen is staying here.

Maybe the chance to come back to spurs and work with our youth/amazing training facilities would be enough to tempt him. Jurgen as the boss, Freund No.2, bring back rafa as player coach. Dream complete!

I would actually be surprised if Jurgen left the USMNT, they basically gave him the keys to the kingdom to design the program from youth to senior side. Something i think he genuinely likes.

Plus, he supposedly has had a house in LA for years (before he even took a role with the US) and genuinely likes the states and the lifestyle he can lead.

I would imagine he would stick it out with the national side for a while longer before moving on.

Not keen on Pochettino. He's still a bit of an unknown, whereas you know what you're getting with Van Gaal. Pochettino could well be a great manager, but whenever we go for an unproven manager, it goes tits up in a matter of months. I want someone with a track record of success...not another up and coming manager that we undermine at every opportunity.

Keep him. He would be a terrible appointment for us.
I think he would be a great appointment for spurs. But i'd rather him stay here through the 2018 cycle. We have a great thing going here right now thanks to Jurgen on all the levels. We are finally becoming a respectable national program.

Pochettino has currently got a pretty talented Southampton squad to eighth. Even we beat them twice.

It's a solid start but I'd hardly say it's spectacular. I'd say the jury is still very much out on him.
This!

He'd be a disaster at Spurs.
Once the big club microscope is on him everyone will pick up on the loose grasp of English and how many games he's lost.

515 pages of Sherwood out!!. This has to be some kind of SC record for a manager?

And 15 pages of vitriol added just because a "sky Source" has confirmed he is leaving at the end of the season?

HAVE YOU SCHMUKS LEARNT NOTHING FROM TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY!!!!!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?

And Dinghy. Both of them are probably having hemroids over this. I pray for them both today. Hope there still with us.
I'm still here. I'm sorry that I don't believe that the way to support the club is to abuse the staff of the club from the day they are appointed is the way forward. I supported Harry whilst he was with us. I supported AVB whilst he was with us and I will support the next manager whilst he is with us. I won't be looking to find reasons to abuse whoever is the head coach of the club that I support.

The pro-Harry & anti AVB / pro AVB & anti TS bs has to stop with the next appointment else whoever comes in will be onto a loser from day one (as TS clearly was) It was inevitable that TS would be hounded out of the club from day one and to me that is quite sad.

Yep, he's a good manager in my opinion. He knows how to set up a team.

It could go either way if we hired him but it's about time we had some luck when it comes to risky appointments.

Im wondering, how many pages will this get to? If we lose tonight, I say 545 cuz he'll be sacked in the morning. If we dont lose, I say 650.

If anything i think this is more controlled than you could expect....think about when we almost had "wrapped up" Leandro "F******" Damiao that one time, or the time after that, or that other time....this is a bit composed and minor compared to that.
