I can well imagine Hoddle and Sherwood clashed -
Hoddle had some very unorthodox spiritual approaches to management,
whereas crucifixes spontaneously combust when Sherwood walks into a room.

But a neutral probably would have come to the same conclusion as Levy,
(and Sherwood) - Hoddle's methods were not working, and he had to go.

Hoddle should have ticked all the boxes for us - he is a living god, has progressive ideas about the game,
etc etc. Unfortunately, I think Hoddle is also quite mad, and I guess that irritates the players a little, after a while.

The haters are going to hate Sherwood regardless, which is their right,
and while he has not deserved an extension, if the best alternative we can come up with is Pochettino,
then the club is better off waiting.
Sherwood gets paid a fortune, so I have no sympathy with him left dangling.

Wow Tim just doesn't shut up does he. What club is going to want to employ such a poisonous idiot as its manager? Plus given that Daniel Levy has known TS for quite a few years now, how the hell did he not realize what a fool he is - yeah okay he might of turned out to be a good / terrible manager, but surely you know if somebody is a knob or not. I think there's a good possibility that Levy isn't a very good judge of character

This is what's bothering me. Is Levy really that bad a judge of character or did Tim charm him with his dodgy car dealer grin? And after all thats happened over the past 6 months why the fuck would you continue to let him sit in front on the press!?

Quite excited at the prospect of him getting a rough time from the fans on Sunday as its the least he deserves.

As I've said previously, the silver lining from this sorry affair is that we finally can extract the little scroat out of this club and rid us from his poisonous influence both as a manager and on the oh so mysterious 'committee'.

A return to some semblance of credibility next season is of the upmost importance.

We serve as a great piece for an agent trying to get a deal for his client with his current club....manager wants to stay but wants a raise....."Ah-hem. Well, Tottenham have sounded us out" suddenly the club is more receptive.

Pretty sure that's why Mihajlovic and Leonardo Jardim have both had rumors in the past 2 days of us sniffing around.

I'll be at the training ground on Tuesday. Maybe I can catch Timothy clearing out his office.

@haydsmith - this sums up my reasoning quite nicely ...

I mean, it's not like he's ever had a bad word to say about the club or its management before ...

POT. KETTLE. BLACK.

People obviously don't remember how he left the club and what he said to the media about Spurs and about the management. This is why I have a fucking problem with the man - because I literally don't know what to believe when he speaks.

Well that's it for me, no point continuing to get worked up about the guy as he'll be gone soon. I just hope there is still time to rescue the squad. I think Hugo has been the best player this season and i would be completely gutted if he went.

Levy can redeem himself if he can move very fast to get the replacement in to start working on the player mentally at least to start with
