Who exactly was meant to have undermined Sherwood?

It's not like he had a snide "technical coordinator" whispering in Levy's ear the whole time that he should be doing a better job with the players he had...
Now I know that I have been getting snide comments from others for question such as this but genuine question is this from reliable ITK or just a feeling?

Do you actually believe some of that stuff you type? I mean seriously.....

Do you really think that fans would prefer a manager with a fancy name? be it foreign or not? Some people talk about employees of the club previously supporting other clubs , in particular Arsenal so nothing new there either. There is animated and there is acting like a crackhead (I'm not saying TS is a crackhead, I've never seen him take crack/coke, although he seemed to have pretty good sniff action)
If TS had kept his trap shut and accepted that he needed to take the caretakers role to establish himself in management rather than spouting off in the press he wants it permanent or nothing, he would have gained more support. If TS had words with some of the players in private rather than in the press, he would have got even more support. If TS had learned from his mistakes (both man management and tactical) he would probably still be the manager today.

That said, I wish him well in his future endeavours

(sorry I'm a few pages, back just got in from work)
No he wouldn't, the minute he was given an 18 month contract his time was up. Levy never had any intention of keeping him on EVER.

with a group of someone else's players.

You just made an argument for why AVB should be brought back, seeing as Sherwood had way more say in our transfers than Ginger Balls did. And no, I don't think Sherwood had all that much say.....just more than Ginger Balls.

AVB: Can I have Oscar
Levy: Yes.
AVB: Wait.....you're not going to get some guy from Middlesboro named Oscar Jones and try to fool me are you?
Levy: (painfully long pause)
AVB: I've made a huge mistake
Levy: Don't worry about it. Hey, question for you. Strikers.....who needs them huh?
AVB: That's really more of a statement

Looking at how our Managers are treated would you risk your career by coming here?

Brendan Rogers didn't want to.
Brendan would of but was offered something he thought was better, Real Madrid sack a manger every season do you think no one wants to go there? If the team is something that you think you can do something with then yes I see a lot of coaches wanting the job. How was TS treated badly, he agreed to the contract...... treated fairly in my eyes.

Sherwood was making lots of comments to Levy to undermine AVB and said he should be doing better with what he had. This is 100% from various top sources.

I'm trying to think of something other than a prestige that would make the Pope jealous and fuck-buckets full of cold hard Spanish tax-payers cash that would make managers want to go there? But I'm drawing blanks.

I disagree mate. There have been a few calling Spurs fans fickle but from what I've seen most are actually passionate about the club. I think there would have been a good feeling that we've promoted our manager from within. A manager that has the club at heart rather than the manager that's here for the money.

Surely he (Sherwood) was the one that put Levy in that position by demanding a longer contract and saying he wouldn't stay as Caretaker or go back to his previous role? So DL just added the extra year and added the break clause.
