No one may give a damn about this...but thought it was worth bringing up.
I recently did one the WHL tours (thoroughly recommended by the way) and as is tradition, we took in the delights of the dressing room.
Whilst in there, the guides (both of them) mentioned that all of the players matchday shirts were exactly the same size in order to 'minimise fuss when printing names and numbers onto them.'
As someone with a sports science background (and a shred of common sense), my reaction was...BOLLOCKS!
Are you telling me that with all the advancements in microfibre, moisture wicking, shirt fabric, the likes of Aaron Lennon still has to run around the pitch in the same size shirt as Tom Huddlestone...or even more amazingly...Peter Crouch...just to make it slightly easier for the guy who prints the shirts???
I ain't buying it. Not for one second.
