We remain the only club along with Stoke to have not spent any money on first team players so far this window both only signing free agents and youngsters who will not feature in the first team squads this season.

With any luck Stoke will sign Palacios and Crouch and we will announce Diarra & Adebayor and all will be happy for a few minutes.

To all the Loyalists, people with level heads, non-knee jerkers and wise old sages ,I'm sure that's how you'd like to be considered, is it ok to be worried now?

I'm not overly happy with the TW, with recent TWs, or with Levy's role as his own surrogate DOF...far from it.

At the same time, I am happy with the business we have done (keeping top players and signings), just a little unhappy that we weren't more ambitious.

That said, I still think we have enough to comepte for top 4.

Iceberg! Iceberg! Iceberg!

I still think we can get 4th. We need Gallas back ASAP.

Exactly. We've signed and loaned good players that will help us, not as many as we'd liked but still players that will help our cause.

If you are that hungry, I'll loan you enough for a Subway...fook that rabbit food

:)

Had a few tussles with you but now the window is over we can forget it and be positive about the club.

We both have the same view, 4th is definitely possible. I think the Bellamy deal and our failure with Cahill may unfortunately tip the balance towards Pool.

I think Cameron Jerome is a great surprise and a very shrewd signing - fits our policy well. I like our pragmatic approach but feel we need RB and CB - not neccesarily top class but useful
