A lot of water under the bridge since he insulted the shirt. But my abiding memory of him is the quality goal he scored against the bluescum in the cup tie that was definitely our best performance of the season until the wrong substitutions were made. Should he be forgiven ? Could he do worse than Zokora and co ? And where is he now anyway ?

Isn't he training somewhere else with a general understanding that he will be gone in January?

I thought he did OK for us until the game with the shirt throwing. I'd be happy enough for him to come back but would he really be an improvement on Jenas? Maybe play him on the right until Lennon is fully recovered, but I always understood that he preferred to play in the centre.

I think that somebody recently posted that he is back in Egypt training with a club there, obviously it would be with the clubs permission.

Next to zero chance of seeing Ghaly in a Spurs shirt again unless Jol goes and the new manager rates him.

What water? He insulted the shirt and then a while after mumbled an apology. Of late he's been in Egypt with the club's permission, but it's not like he's keeping his head down and working his way back through the reserves.

I see the Chelsea myth continues. Lennon signalled that he'd cramped up and wanted to be taken off. Berbatov was carrying an injury from a previous game - an international I think.

More anger should be directed at Mido, who came on for Berbatov and played like a pub player. If he had been able to trap and hold up the ball we wouldn't have given away possession so much. Then there was Defoe's chance to score a fourth that hit the bar...

I'd like to see him back and given a chance. He's unpredictable and not short of pulling off something unusual. His substitution antics were down to frustration which is understandable and was blown up out of proportion.

Yes Ghaly should be brought back instead of Malbranque.

You know Steed Malbranque is the small French one, not the tall Ivorian don't you?

I'm all for Hossssssssssssssssssssssssam 'a' Ghallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly.

Just so I can start doing that again.

i would welcome him back. i don't know why he isn't there now to be honest.

Ill tell you why

1: shirt throwing is a disgrace

2: Brum were willing to pay 3 mil for him, he goes there, makes a complete knob of himself, and completly obliterates the chances of us getting a good fee for him, due to him showing what a complete cock-chugging jobby-jabbing twunt he is.

No way .. for many reasons ..

1) If you want him as Right Mid. : we have Lennon, Taarabt are waiting for their chance, they didn't get enough chance this season to shine and they aren't reasonable for our current form .. Also Malbranque & Routledge are natural wingers on Right more than Ghaly.

2) If you want him as Cetral Mid. : If you think Zokora, Huddlestone, Jenas aren't performing well, we have Tainio who is still yet to play on his favourite role, he shined there against Newcastle (2-3) Home last year. Also we have Boateng who is one for our future plans, he should get his chance instead of someone who will leave as soon as possible.

3) Ghaly is inconsistent performer and we saw that enough last year when he was fit .. so what now after missing a lot months without training ?!
