I'd loan him out if possible - he's not realistically going to get much playing time with us but there's a good player in there somewhere. I think if it comes down to him or Holtby I would much rather keep Lewis.

I agree. He had some lovely moments, but he's not very influential in our play, he's more a peripheral player and I don't think he will ever become an influential player when he's playing as a no.10.
Fair points but do you rate his versatility and possible potential.

Did he pay as a 10 at Swansea when he did so well? Another honest question

I'm not too sure, Swansea played 4-3-3 and I think he was the most advanced of the three, so not quite a no.10, but not too much difference.

I don't think he's that versatile tbh, I think he's just been pushed out to the left because he doesn't do enough in the middle. He looks better cutting in from the left as he's got more time and space than in the middle.

I think he'll leave either permanently or on loan when Eriksen comes in as he and Holtby are both better than him in the middle. Don't see him having much of a future here.

If we had bought Moutinho last year I think Siggy would have had a much better season. But the way our team is set up now we expect our advanced midfielder to be our playmaker, to find Soldado and the wings and be a creative force and that just isn't Siggy's strength. He's a goalscorer with a wicked shot, like the one he nearly scored yesterday, but killer passes and ultra-creative movements aren't really in his repertoire, especially when he starts on the wing and is constantly making us narrow by drifting in to the top of the box and crowding us.
