right right - he didnt come on against Chelsea last year and pretty much change the game for us allowing us to get a draw.

i must have been dreaming about that one.

What on earth is your opinion based on?

That was last year.. We've far more quality in midfield this year with the exception of Bale so making Siggy's selection more challenging.. That's my opinion..

Adebayor was the star last year v Chelsea

not sure im denying that - Siggy came on at 60 mins and helped to change the game and scored the equalizer.

you said he couldnt do it against the big boys - theres proof he can.

Another negative thread after a win and a clean sheet from a match in which we thoroughly dominated. Oh, and it's about Siggy not being good enough..

He's been playing well lately IMO, and the introduction of Eriksen has helped him perform better. Also, remember that Siggy cutting inside would usually allow Rose round down the wing. As it was Naughton, we tended to produce more from the right. Siggy hit the bar, could've assisted Paulinho too if it wasn't for Marshall.

Definitely, definitely good enough.

Quality player, very intelligent on the ball and we will need as many of those as possible if we're to compete on all fronts. Always a goal threat too.

swap dembele for holtby, gylfi for lamela, netiher d or g push us forward enough, outstanding dribbling in the center circle achieves nothing and shots on sight rarely do either.

Swap Lamela for Andros and then think about who will play on other flank.

Gylfi is a mercurial bugger who drives me to turn the air blue while watching him - one minute he can hardly stand up and if he receives the ball in that moment he will fall over it!
Then like brightly coloured newly emerged butterfly from its cocoon, he will look the most all round footballer that was created, up there with best.

I just think we have to give him the chance to be a full time butterfly.

Jesus Christ. A youngish player genuinely happy to be here, intent on fighting hard to get playing time instead of whining (Here's looking at you mr. Defoe) which clearly offers a goal threath and would walk into every other PL team from 6th and downwards.
Can't have that!

I thought Siggy was doing great, finds good space to get very decent shots off and is another fast powerful player on the ball. He just needs Rose to overlap him, as Naughton is too right sided to find the by-line, shame BAE has gone. Eriksen seems to look for him on the pitch, which is a good sign and when Lamela gets a start alongside them I honestly think we will be quite the spectacle. Kind of feel sorry for Defoe, Lennon and Townsend quality English players, but the talent in front of them is quite special.

In Siggy I trust. Lets just play him up front instead of Soldadon't.
