Looks good, though a lot of his goals seem to be pens.

The old big man with a good touch. Flo, kanoute, crouch and kanu spring to mind. Can't see a down side to this, a short term deal and low cost.

From the vid, he seems like he is good at linking the play, dribbling, not slow, can finish and his touch is excellent.

I've always loved this type of player.

Although I will add the caveat that from that vid there is some truly shocking defending and a few questionable offsides to add to the pens.

Google Translate:

After a long wait, Salernitana is ready to welcome its new striker: it will be Nwankwo Simy .

The Nigerian player born in 1992 will arrive from Crotone permanently : the last details were adjusted a few minutes ago. Now everything is ready for his passage to Salernitana with the formula of the loan with the obligation of redemption set at 6 million (including bonuses).

The player is expected in the day Wednesday in Salerno to carry out medical examinations and affix the signature on his new contract that will tie him to the club grenade.

After a great season lived with the shirt of Crotone ( 20 goals in 38 appearances in Serie A ), Simy can now keep playing in the highest Italian league: waiting for him there is an important place as Salernitana where he can put it back in shows its worth.

This signing would have been a Nelsen and Saha type end of the window for me.
