I left the Lane last night with mixed feelings. For the third league game running we had a lot of the ball but struggled to turn it into goals.

And when we went 1-0 down the stadium all probably said the same.........'here we go again'

But Rafa's late goal I think will give the players a sudden lift after our poor run and also the hangover from the shocking scenes against Bolton on saturday.

Had that goal not gone in we would go into saturday feeling awful, but that might just have been the gaol we needed to start things off again.

Avoid defeat on saturday and we are a minimum of 5 points clear of 5th place. With 8 games to go I would have taken that if you had offered it to me at the start of the season

The battle of who finishes higher out of us and Arsenal is more important to them than it is to us i feel.............4th place would be a great season and I still think its on

It ended the run of defeats, which is obviously a good thing. However I still felt shit after the game. It was like being beaten up for 92 minutes, and as you lie on the ground bruised and bleeding they throw you a lollypop.

We all know possession counts for nothing, but... come on! 71% possession, it was more a case of them nicking a point rather than us scraping an equaliser.

We need Adebayor back ASAP.

We need a come-back game.

A snatch victory from the jaws of defeat game.

Not quite last night, but...

This.

I don't take much solace from scraping a draw at home to Stoke.

It all depends if we win the next game, and then go on a run between now and the end of the season of mostly winning our games.

If we don't then it's not particularly the single most important goal of the season, no.

Yep could be an important goal, we had 17 shots to 2 it's not like we were shit...AGAIN played decently well but just not getting the rub of the green whilst arsenal beat Everton who have a perfectly good goal disallowed...lady luck better come back to us soon.

Hopefully we can beat Chelsea on Saturday then people will take notice again.
